Chapter 247 Little Devil VS Little Devil King

Chapter 247 Little Devil VS Little Devil King

Hearing their mother's worries, the three children exchanged glances, and then Murong Chen patted his chest and said, "Mommy, don't worry, let the Wen family rest assured and leave this matter to us!"

"What other ideas do you have?" Kong Wange asked warily.

The three children always acted unexpectedly, and her heart couldn't handle it.

Murong Chen waved his hand: "Don't worry, Mommy, we'll definitely be reliable this time!"

Kong Wange: "..."

Why does that sound so unreliable?

She pressed him for more questions, but Murong Chen remained mysterious, looking unwilling to say more.

The children have always been opinionated, so Kong Wange had no choice but to give up and begin to enjoy the rare time she spent with the three little ones.

More than an hour passed in the blink of an eye, and the three little ones prepared to leave.

Kong Wange intended to escort them to the front gate, but the three children refused: "It's too hot outside, Mommy. We can go out by ourselves. I already sent a message in advance to ask Uncle Lin Cheng to wait for us outside!"

"Yes, Mommy, we're in a 'plastic mother-son relationship' right now, so we should keep our distance."

Kong Wange was amused by them: "Alright then, be careful on the road, and let me know you're safe when you get home, okay?"

Okay.

The three little ones cuddled and kissed Kong Wange for a while before turning and leaving.

The group left through the small gate of the courtyard, but after taking only a few steps, Murong Chen suddenly stopped.

Kong Ran, following behind, nearly bumped into his back and immediately said with displeasure, "Little Chenchen, what are you doing?"

Murong Chen quickly turned around and made a "shh" gesture to her.

Kong Ran was taken aback for a moment, then subconsciously lowered her voice: "What's wrong?"

Murong Chen pointed to a spot not far away, gesturing for Kong Ran and Kong Chi to look.

The three children looked in that direction together—and saw a flamboyant young man with a full head of red hair wearing a tank top and shorts, huffing and puffing as he painted something on the outer wall of Kong Wange's courtyard.

Kong Ran's eyes widened: "What is he doing? Painting a mural?"

“It doesn’t look like it, and it’s not paint,” Kong Chi chimed in from behind.

Murong Chen waved his hand: "Let's go, shall we go take a look?"

"Let's go, let's go!"

The three little ones, always eager for a good time, sneaked towards Wen Sichen's direction.

Wen Sichen was extremely focused while brushing his fingers, a smug smile occasionally playing on his lips as he muttered, "You dare to steal my dog? I'll teach you a lesson this time!"

He was brushing his brush diligently, focused intently, and happily, completely unaware that three small, eerie figures had unknowingly appeared behind him.

"Hey, what are you doing!"

A childish, sweet voice rang out from behind him, startling Wen Sichen so much that he dropped the brush he was holding.

He turned around abruptly and saw three children. His eyes widened in shock: "W-where did you all come from?!"

Kong Ran snorted coldly: "It's none of your business. I'm asking you what you're doing, so tell me the truth!"

Seeing that he was just a few kids in front of him, Wen Sichen became arrogant: "Do I need to report to you what I do? I don't care where you come from, but you need to understand that this is my house. I can do whatever I want. You little brats can go cool off somewhere else!"

After saying that, he turned around and continued to focus on his work.

While he wasn't looking, Kong Chi secretly wiped a little bit of the oily liquid in the bucket with her small hand, brought it to her nose and smelled it. Then she pulled Kong Ran and Murong Chen aside and whispered, "He's applying pear fragrance, a medicinal herb, but it tastes sweet, so it easily attracts insects."

Upon hearing this, Kong Ran couldn't contain her anger and wanted to fight Wen Sichen. How could she tolerate someone trying to harm her mother with insects?

However, before she could move, Murong Chen suddenly grabbed her and whispered, "Wait, Ran-jie. You can't stand up for Mommy. This is the Wen family. Have you forgotten what Mommy just told us?"

What did Mommy just say?

Oh, we need to keep a low profile and not let the other person find out about their relationship!

But……

They can't just sit idly by when something like this happens!

Murong Chen knew exactly what she was thinking, and whispered to Kong Ran, "Watch me."

He then walked towards Wen Sichen.

He deliberately shouted, "Big brother, you're smearing pear scent on the wall, are you up to something bad?"

Wen Sichen turned around and covered his mouth, looking around nervously: "You little brat, keep your voice down!"

After saying that, he looked Murong Chen up and down carefully: "You're not tall, but you know a lot. How did you know that this is Qiu Lixiang?"

"Oh, that's not important. What's important is getting down to business. You're doing something bad, how can you not call on the three of us? We'll help you, okay?"

Wen Sichen was stunned for a moment, then looked at him suspiciously: "You guys, help me with this?"

"That's right! Big brother, you probably don't know, but the woman living in this courtyard is our stepmother. We've been wanting to find a chance to get back at her for a while!"

Wen Sichen: "..."

This statement contains a lot of information; he needs time to process it.

"If I remember correctly, the women in this courtyard have only been married once, so the three of you are..."

Taking the opportunity to retaliate, Murong Chen punched Wen Sichen in the chest with his little fist and said exaggeratedly, "Big brother, I have to say you're very smart! Our father is Murong Ting. We are all from big families, so we should get to know each other better. That's why the three of us came to visit your family as soon as we arrived in Kyoto."

Wen Sichen coughed a few times and rolled his eyes speechlessly: "Stop it. Visiting is fine, but whoever wants to be the smartest can be the smartest. I'm not going to be the smartest. I think the three of you are the smartest!"

The three little ones: "..."

Wen Sichen's gaze swept over the children: "Hey you three little devils, you're not trying to fool me, are you?"

"Big brother, I'm telling the truth. You have no idea how miserable our lives have been!"

Murong Chen wiped away non-existent tears with his little hand as he spoke: "Our stepmother is so cruel and wicked. Even though she's divorced from our daddy, she still comes to harass him every few days. We're all so annoyed!"

Wen Sichen: "Flies don't land on eggs without cracks. Could it be that your dad is still bothering his ex-wife after the divorce?"

Murong Chen: "..."

Why isn't this brat playing by the rules?

Kong Ran, getting anxious, chimed in, "Then let's not count that. Let's find another one. After she married my dad, she never cooked, deliberately starving us. She would yell at us for no reason, and after yelling at us, she would threaten to whip us with a rattan cane if we complained to my dad!"

Wen Sichen looked puzzled: "Am I remembering wrong? I seem to remember that Murong Ting's wife ran away right after they got married, and she hasn't been seen for several years. How could she cook for you? Besides, your Murong family is so big, and all the servants are dead. You don't even have anyone to cook?"

Kong Ran: "..."

You're really damn smart!
