Chapter 493 The Qin Family of Kyoto, A Resentful Classmate Reunion

Chapter 493 The Qin Family of Kyoto, A Resentful Classmate Reunion

The man gestured for a stop: "Being late is being late. I'm not in the mood to listen to your explanations. It seems Miss Kong isn't really interested in discussing this collaboration."

Kong Wange has worked hard for many years and has seen such difficult clients before. They are just using this as an excuse to raise prices.

She calmly looked at him and said, "Mr. Qin, of course I've come with sincerity. Please feel free to bring up any ideas you have regarding the rent..."

“Miss Kong, do I look like someone who’s short of money?” the man interrupted her again. “Since you want to rent my shop, you have to follow my rules.”

He gestured with his eyes to the row of wine glasses stacked on the table.

"Drink these, and we can talk things over."

Kong Wange's eyes narrowed, and she smiled, "Mr. Qin just questioned my sincerity, and now I'm starting to question Mr. Qin's sincerity. I'm here to discuss cooperation, not to drink."

The man shrugged: "In that case, I won't force you. Miss Kong, please leave."

What's wrong with this man?

Kong Wange frowned slightly, unable to figure out what he was up to.

If they are sincerely here to discuss cooperation, they shouldn't have this attitude.

But if he didn't want to talk, why did he invite me over?

She was certain they had never met before, so why was he deliberately making things difficult for her?

The atmosphere became tense; she couldn't possibly drink the alcohol.

But having come all this way, she wasn't willing to leave just like that.

Just as the two were at an impasse, a loud, boisterous voice suddenly rang out from not far away: "Fine, let's go! Drink your sister! You dare bully my sister-in-law?!"

Kong Wange paused for a moment, then looked in the direction the sound came from, and immediately saw Tang Minghao leading the wind towards them.

Behind him followed Murong Ting, whose brows were slightly furrowed and whose expression was somber.

What's he doing here?

A short while later, Tang Minghao and Murong Ting walked up to Kong Wange and the man.

The man's face was gloomy, and he said in a cold, sarcastic tone, "I wondered who it was. Isn't this my old classmate, Tang Ershao, who was last in his class for twelve consecutive years from elementary school to high school?"

Tang Minghao blushed and immediately retorted, "Qin Leilei, let me correct you again, it's second to last, not last!"

The man raised an eyebrow slightly: "What's the difference? Also, my name is Qin Lei, not Qin Leilei!"

Tang Minghao immediately laughed and pointed at him, saying, "Oh, it seems you also know that the name Qin Leilei sounds girly, but you don't want to admit it. Then do you dare to show your ID card and let everyone see what your real name is? The more you don't want to hear it, the more I'll insist on calling you Qin Leilei, Qin Leilei, Qin Leilei!"

The man called Qin Leilei's face darkened. He suddenly stood up and grabbed Tang Minghao's wrist, twisting it behind his back: "You're so foul-mouthed, aren't you?"

"Ouch! It hurts! Let me go!" Tang Minghao cried out in pain, caught off guard by the sudden attack, "Second Brother, save me!"

Murong Ting withdrew his gaze from Kong Wange and fixed his hawk-like eyes on Qin Leilei: "Let her go."

Qin Leilei scoffed lightly: "Letting go is fine, but can Young Master Ting guarantee that your dog won't bark indiscriminately?"

"Fuck your ancestors! Qin Leilei, who the hell are you calling a dog!" Tang Minghao's temper flared up, and ignoring the pain in his hand, he kicked Qin Leilei directly.

Qin Leilei was prepared. He released his wrist, dodged, and threw a punch back.

Tang Minghao only has rudimentary skills; he'd definitely suffer if he encountered a true expert.

Just as the fist was about to land, in a flash, Murong Ting suddenly made a move and blocked the fist.

He moved with lightning speed; before anyone could even see how he made his move, Qin Leilei had already taken two steps back.

He said nonchalantly, "Young Master Ting's kung fu is getting more and more refined. I thought you were too busy making money and that your kung fu had long since fallen into disuse."

Murong Ting ignored him and said in a cold voice, "I've heard that the Qin family of Kyoto has always been unwilling to be ranked last among the four great families. Is Young Master Qin's behavior today an attempt to openly wage war against my Murong family and the An family?"

Qin Leilei looked bewildered, his thin lips pursed: "What does Young Master Ting mean? Forgive my ignorance, I don't understand."

"Stop pretending!" Tang Minghao pointed at Kong Wange and said, "This is my second brother's wife. You dare say you don't know?"

Qin Leilei said pretentiously, "Really? I really didn't know that. You two are unaware of the truth. Miss Kong herself came to me to discuss this business. I had no intention of making things difficult for her."

Kong Wange rolled her eyes. Her relationship with Murong Ting had been trending on social media several times. How could Qin Leilei not know about her relationship with Murong Ting?

He probably arranged to meet her because he knew she was Murong Ting's wife.

This person has a effeminate face and a calculating look on their face; they're blatantly lying!

She bluntly exposed him: "Mr. Qin, it's true that I came to talk business with you, but this wine wasn't something I wanted to drink."

Qin Leilei clicked his tongue: "Miss Kong, what you said really hurts me. How can you do business without drinking? These two have never been reasonable since they were young, I'm used to it, but how can you be so muddle-headed?"

"Damn it, Qin Leilei, who are you calling unreasonable?" Tang Minghao looked at Murong Ting: "Second brother, show some of your childhood bravado, quick, beat him into submission!"

Murong Ting stepped forward, pulled Kong Wange behind him, then pushed the wine glass on the table and said in a deep voice, word by word, "She won't drink, you drink."

These five words are an order, not a test; the threat is palpable.

Qin Leilei chuckled and reached out to pick up the wine glass.

The red wine in the stemmed glass swirled around in the glass as he swung his wrist.

Just when everyone thought he was about to drink it, he tilted his wrist, and half a glass of red wine spilled onto the ground.

Immediately afterwards, he loosened his grip, and with a "crack," the wine glass shattered into pieces on the ground.

The surrounding air froze instantly.

Qin Leilei looked at Murong Ting: "Murong Ting, this isn't how we were kids anymore. Please put away your domineering CEO attitude. Do you really think I, Qin Leilei, am afraid of you?"

Their eyes met, and sparks flew.

This is a provocation, an absolutely blatant provocation!

Tang Minghao has hated Qin Leilei's half-dead attitude since he was a child. Not only did Qin Leilei always get first place in the exam, but every time the teacher asked, he would always say that he just did the test casually and did not study seriously. Can you believe it?

He rolled up his sleeves, wanting to punch that bastard.

Before they could even move, a soft and surprised female voice suddenly rang in their ears: "Brother Hao, Brother Ting, Brother Lei."

Hearing that familiar voice, the group turned around and, sure enough, it was Wen Luoyun.

She walked gracefully closer and, as if only just noticing Kong Wange, called out to her, "Cousin."

Kong Wange turned her head away and ignored her.

Wen Luoyun didn't mind, but turned to look at Murong Ting and the others, and sighed: "I could hear you arguing from far away. We're all old acquaintances, and I really don't want to see this scene."
