Chapter 670 Visiting Zhou Qiao
Three days later.
The master told Wen Luoyun to go and get the jade pendant.
As expected of the craftsman she had gone to great lengths to find, the jade pendant was made indistinguishable from the real one. Upon arriving at the Shadow Gate, two burly men stood guard as always.

Wen Luoyun had only taken two steps forward when she was stopped by the other person: "Who are you?"
She let out a soft breath and said gently, "I'm a friend of Miss Zhou Qiao, and I've come to see her."

The burly man nodded and stepped aside.
Zhou Qiao linked arms with Wen Luoyun, smiling broadly: "Really, Sister Ruoyun, you didn't even tell me you were coming."
"I only decided to come over because I was worried when I heard from Xiao Ju Zi that you and Master Qin had a fight."
"Argued?" Zhou Qiao was taken aback: "I didn't argue with Qin Feng!"
"No argument?" Wen Luoyun feigned surprise: "Didn't you and Master Qin say you were going to travel for several days? Why did you come back early?"
Zhou Qiao exclaimed, "Who spread these rumors?!"
She then explained the whole story to Wen Luoyun, and finally pointed to the study, saying, "Look, they're still talking over there right now. I don't understand what they're saying, so I won't get involved!"
Wen Luoyun suddenly realized, "So it was indeed a misunderstanding. It seems that my trip was unnecessary."

“That’s different. Girls should always be financially independent! If I were to rely entirely on his money and use his services, wouldn’t our relationship be unequal?” Zhou Qiao said.
