Chapter 830 Ranbao extra (3)

Chapter 830 Ranbao extra (3)

The car drove into Xishan Villa, which is only a ten-minute walk from University A.

Murong Ting and Kong Wange's three children, although they all studied medicine with Kong Wange from a young age, unexpectedly, only Kong Ran, who seemed to have the least perseverance, persisted to the end.

When she was admitted to the medical school of University A, Kong Wange decided to buy her an apartment here, telling her that if she got along well with her roommates, she could stay in the dormitory, and if not, she could move out and live on her own.

Kong Ran got along quite well with her roommates. Chu Simiao was her roommate and later became her best friend. But as they were about to graduate, all of her roommates became busy and rarely saw each other. Kong Ran herself was also busy with her graduation thesis. She realized that she was working day and night and that living in the dormitory was not as convenient as living in her own house, so she decided to move out first.

The apartment building has three bedrooms and two living rooms. She lives there by herself and there is still some space. Over the years, she has kept in touch with Wen Sichen and chats with him whenever she has free time, so she has mentioned this matter to him as well.

She never expected that her casual remark would make him secretly take it to heart.

As he reached the apartment door, Kong Ran turned around, picked up his backpack, and reached for his keys.

Wen Sichen hissed, "Everyone else uses electronic locks, why do you still need a key to open this door?"

As Kong Ran rummaged through the keys, he said, "The apartments were all opened with keys when they were handed over. People changed their electronic locks themselves. I haven't lived here long, so I'm too lazy to bother with it."

As she was talking, she found the key and was about to take it out when, with a "click," two tickets came out with it.

Her head throbbed at the sight of the ticket. She hissed and bent down to pick it up, but Wen Sichen was one step ahead.

He picked up the ticket and read aloud: "A major youth comedy of the year, both funny and touching, excellent value for money..."

He looked at Kong Ran with a scrutinizing gaze: "When did you start liking stage plays?"

Kong Ran blushed as she recalled the scene in the grove, and without saying a word, she snatched the ticket back: "Do I need to tell you in advance what I want to see?"

She stuffed the ticket back into her backpack, quickly unlocked the door with her key: "If you want to be my tenant, the first rule is: ask less and do more, understand?"

Wen Sichen remained noncommittal, then casually strolled into the room with his hands in his pockets: "Fine, tenants have no rights anyway."

He took two steps, then turned around with a look of disgust: "Kong Ran, after all these years, your 'King of Sloppiness' persona hasn't changed at all."

Kong Ran: "...Stay if you want, otherwise go find a hotel!"

Her room is just a little messy, but who doesn't have a messy room?

Einstein's desk was cluttered with all sorts of things!

Wen Sichen admired her for being able to act so self-righteous despite her messy habits. He curled his lips and said helplessly, "Fine, your house is yours, okay?"

He said this as a habitual gesture, and started tidying up for her.

When Kong Ran first went abroad for an exchange program, the local students living in her neighborhood had rather chaotic private lives. She couldn't sleep well for three days in a row, and eventually moved into his house for a while.

He had already witnessed her prowess as a "slovenly queen" by then, and after trying to persuade her many times to no avail, he had no choice but to take matters into his own hands.

There's a saying that goes something like this: when it comes to housework, when two people are together, the one who can't stand it anymore always ends up suffering.

Wen Sichen was the first to give in.

He sometimes wondered, this girl seems so decisive and efficient on the outside, but who would know that she's such a clueless person in private? One second she's putting her hair tie on the sofa, and the next she's searching the whole room for it.

When she's at home, the things she calls out most often are, "Wen Sichen, I can't find my phone; Wen Sichen, have you seen my T-shirt?; Wen Sichen, where did I put my book?"

He thought this problem would gradually correct itself as she got older, but it turned out he was overthinking it.

Let alone three years, even thirty years later, it is very difficult to change a person's personality.

For some reason, Wen Sichen, who was diligently packing his things, felt somewhat fortunate when he thought about this.

Perhaps it was because his life had changed so much that Kong Ran's consistent personality over the past ten years made him feel at ease.

He quickly put all her things back in their places, and when he saw two packs of sanitary napkins still lying on the sofa, he was speechless and said, "Do you even have the manners of a girl anymore? You can just throw these things around like that."

Kong Ran showed no shame in front of Wen Sichen. She opened a bottle of ice water, sat down on the sofa, put her little feet on the coffee table, took a sip, and then sighed comfortably, "Anyway, there are no outsiders at home, so what's there to be afraid of?"

Looking at her almost "bold" posture, Wen Sichen sat down next to her and asked, "So, you really don't have a boyfriend?"

Thinking of the beautiful woman who was holding Zhong Lin's arm, Kong Ran snorted twice: "What's so good about men? They're all visual creatures. They can't walk past a beautiful woman."

Wen Sichen clicked his tongue lightly: "Don't talk like you girls aren't the same. Everyone loves beauty. Don't you feel happy when you see a handsome guy?"

“What you said makes sense…” Kong Ran said thoughtfully, then turned to look at Wen Sichen abruptly: “So, do you think I’m pretty?”

Wen Sichen suddenly met her gaze, and his heart skipped a beat.

His Adam's apple bobbed slightly, and the next moment he snatched the water bottle from her hand: "What's the use of just being pretty? Look at yourself, where is there any girl in you? Even handsome guys would be scared away by you."

Without saying a word, Kong Ran slapped him: "I was just being unreasonable by asking you. Give me the water!"

Wen Sichen put the water aside: "Every time you have menstrual cramps and are in excruciating pain, you still drink cold water. Are you a suicide squad member?"

At this point, Kong Ran became sullen and stubbornly said, "I don't drink it every day."

Wen Sichen was too lazy to argue with her. Looking at the corner of the ticket peeking out of her backpack, he pondered, "So, you're going to see the stage play with your friends?"

“I was thinking of doing that,” Kong Ran said, arms crossed and eyes drooping, “but unfortunately my friend stood me up.”

That's just a nice way of putting it; in reality, she didn't even manage to give away the ticket.

Thinking of this, Kong Ran felt even more heartbroken.

She really likes the actors in this youth comedy; it would be a waste not to go see it.

Hearing her say that, Wen Sichen made up his mind.

He pulled out the ticket and clapped his hands: "I'm free tonight, how about we go together?"

Kong Ran looked at him suddenly, and after a long while sighed: "Forget it, you either watch musicals or those high-end ballet performances when you're abroad, this kind of comedy is definitely not your cup of tea."

"I haven't seen it, how do you know I'm not interested?" Wen Sichen unilaterally made the decision: "It's decided then. I'm going to my room to take a shower first. I stink after sitting on a plane all day."

"Hey, wait a minute, your room is over there!"
