Chapter 539 You're about to strangle me!

Chapter 539 You're about to strangle me!

She took it, smelled it, and it did smell very good. Most importantly, it was still warm.

It seems he reheated it while he was cooking.

Yan Su urged An Jing, "What are you standing there for? Eat quickly, it'll get cold."

Anjing became inexplicably nervous because of his appearance, and actually finished the chicken leg when no one was paying attention.

I don't know if it's because I'm eating alone, but this chicken leg adds a sense of quiet satisfaction.

It has to be said that this was the most comfortable meal she had eaten in the past few days.

Wen Yue had two more scenes to film in the afternoon, so after everyone finished eating, they immediately got back to work.

After watching quietly for a while, she found that Wen Yue was getting into a good mood and there was nothing for her to worry about, so she went into the rest tent.

She only intended to lie down for a while, but ended up falling asleep.

Despite the noise outside, Anjing slept more soundly than the previous few nights.

As the sun set, she was gently patted twice, and a familiar voice sounded in her ear: "An'an, wake up."

Anjing opened her eyes groggily and saw Yan Su sitting next to her. She didn't know when a warm blanket had been draped over her.

There was a book next to the person beside her, and it was unclear how long she had been sitting there.

She was taken aback: "What time is it?"

"A little after five o'clock."

"I slept for so long?" Anjing opened her eyes wide.

She came in around 2 a.m. and slept for three hours straight.

Yan Su curled his lips into a smile: "Have you not been sleeping well these past few nights?"

An Jing ignored him and instead asked, "Why is it so quiet outside? Aren't there still a few night scenes to film?"

"It's raining. The director said the weather was bad, so he took a few actors back to discuss the scene. The night scene will be filmed tomorrow night."

"Is it raining?" Anjing lifted the tent flap, and sure enough, where they were, the terrain was high, and looking down, everything was shrouded in mist, with a few drizzles falling.

A few people were still on set, busy putting waterproof covers on the equipment. When they saw her come out, the cameraman smiled and said, "Sister An is awake?"

Anjing was a little embarrassed and said, "Ah, shall I help you?"

"No need, no need, it'll be done in a minute. You and Xiao Yan should hurry down the mountain, don't catch a cold in this weather."

You don't notice it when it's not raining, but standing quietly in the rain for a short while now, you can feel the chill on your skin.

The next second, a warm top was draped over her shoulders.

She paused for a moment, then turned around and, sure enough, saw Yan Su withdraw his hand: "It's getting cold, be careful not to catch a cold."

Seeing that he was only wearing a thin T-shirt, Anjing immediately returned the shirt to him, saying, "No need, I brought my own clothes."

Then, she turned and went into the tent to start packing her things.

She didn't have much stuff, and she packed it up in no time.

Yan Su took her bag and said, "Let me carry it."

"If you're really free, go help them get some equipment," Anjing said, pointing outside.

"Two approaches at once, no delays!" Yan Su said, snatched her bag and carried it on his own back. Before she could say anything more, he turned and dashed out.

Anjing couldn't quite describe her feelings. After a moment of silence, she followed him out.

After she went out, Yan Su was already carrying a tripod and two flashlights on his back.

Upon seeing An Jing, the cameraman couldn't stop praising Yan Su: "Sister An, this young Yan brother is amazing! He's not only handsome but also strong. He lifted that heavy tripod with just one hand!"

Anjing glanced at Yan Su's biceps, which were bulging from exertion, then quickly looked away and coughed lightly, saying, "Uh... I'm alright."

After saying that, fearing the cameraman might say something else, he quickly added, "Brother Shui, this camera can't get wet, right? Let me take it back for you first?"

"Okay, okay, then I'll trouble you, Sister An!"

Anjing took the camera and waved her hand: "It's okay, just remember to pick it up from me when you get back. We'll go downstairs now!"

"Alright, the road back is slippery, be careful!" The cameraman reminded him while winking at Yan Su and giving him a thumbs-up.

Yan Su gave him an OK sign.

The rain wasn't heavy, but Anjing, who grew up in the city, still found it a bit difficult to go down the mountain.

Yan Su followed closely behind her, asking worriedly, "Should I carry you on my back?"

Anjing retorted defiantly, "Mind your own business."

"Don't be stubborn, you'll be crying before you even get a sprained ankle."

As soon as Yan Su finished speaking, there was a "crack" sound, and An Jing stepped into a floating pit.

Quiet:"……"

Seeing that she was about to fall, Yan Su reacted quickly and pulled her up, managing to keep her steady.

Anjing, enduring the pain in her ankle, angrily retorted, "Yan Su, are you born in the year of the crow?"

“Yes, yes, I was born in the Year of the Rabbit, and I dug this hole.” Yan Su frowned, squatted down, and gently pressed her ankle. As expected, he heard An Jing gasp.

"Be gentle." Anjing lightly punched his shoulder.

"Thankfully, no bones were broken." Yan Su's brows relaxed slightly, then he took the flashlight off his back, held it in his hand, and squatted down in front of her.

An Jing was stunned for a moment: "What are you doing?"

"Come on up!"

Do I really have to carry her on my back?

Without a second thought, Anjing refused: "No, you're carrying so much stuff, don't try to be strong, just help me and walk slowly!"

Anjing was about to walk around him when a sharp pain shot through her as soon as her foot touched the ground. She almost fell again and instinctively grabbed Yan Su's arm to steady herself.

Yan Su's face unusually grim: "I've drilled several more holes down there, are you really not coming up?"

Anjing muttered, "Do you think you're funny? You're not funny at all."

Despite saying that, she obediently climbed onto Yan Su's back, wrapped her arms around his neck, and felt her cheeks inexplicably flush as she felt the man's strong, muscular shoulders.

At the same time, Yan Su's breathing paused for two seconds.

He called her name in a low voice: "An'an".

"Um?"

"An'an!"

"Um?"

Just as Yan Su was about to call out for the third time, An Jing interrupted impatiently, "Yan Su, what exactly do you want? Don't think that just because you're behind my back, you can make unreasonable demands of me!"

Yan Su's veins bulged: "An'an, you're strangling me to death."

Anjing belatedly realized that she was too nervous, and her arms were tightly wrapped around the man's neck.

Her face flushed, and she hurriedly let go of his hand. Yan Su took a few deep breaths and said with lingering fear, "Don't commit any more killings. Let's go."

Anjing gave him a nudge on the shoulder: "Stop talking nonsense and watch where you're going."

Yan Su smiled and said, "Don't worry, I drive very steadily."

Anjing rolled her eyes and fell silent.

Feeling the breaths beside his ear, Yan Su's smile deepened.

Yan Su walked more cautiously on the road ahead, and thus his pace slowed down.

The cameramen and their crew actually caught up with them.
