"You can't come out to see me. What nonsense are you spouting? Don't get in my way of rescuing people." Ji Fengming realized that this guy might not be human, so he became quite rude.
"Those who enter the temple must first pass a test before they can do anything they want," a mechanical female voice kindly reminded them.
"What if I say no?" Ji Fengming was getting a little angry.
"The weak have no right or freedom to say no," the mechanical female voice remained calm and indifferent.
The scenery shifted before Ji Fengming's eyes, and he found himself in a tall, spacious palace.
The mechanical female voice said again, "As long as you can leave this room, you can do something you want to do."
"Doing something I want to do, you make it sound so real. Are you a wishing tree that can grant people's wishes or something?" Ji Fengming rambled on casually, but someone involuntarily came to mind. The corners of his mouth quickly curled up, but he quickly suppressed it.
The mechanical female voice didn't speak again.
Ji Fengming walked straight to the door of the room. It's just leaving the room, what else can you do but climb through the window or jump off the roof?
But Ji Fengming soon discovered that he was "lost in a maze" again.
No matter which way he walks toward the door or window, the distance between him and the door or window remains exactly the same as when he came in.
"Are you kidding me?" Ji Fengming angrily pointed to the top of the palace.
Looking at the shimmering, almost glazed tiles above him, Ji Fengming's eyes lit up:
If they won't let him use the doors and windows, are they really going to let him use the roof?
"Fine, it's not like I haven't been here before," Ji Fengming gritted his teeth and tried to leap onto the roof of the palace.
However, it was all for naught; no matter how high he jumped, the distance between him and the top of the palace remained constant.
Ji Fengming then tried to fly away on his sword.
But when he summoned the sword, it lay dead on the ground, turning back into an ordinary iron sword.
No matter how much spiritual power he channeled into it, it remained completely still.
"This is really strange." After all this commotion, Ji Fengming's short temper finally flared up.
He paced back and forth in the hall with his hands on his hips, angrily saying, "You're the one who attracted me in here, not the other way around. I don't care if you grant me any wishes. Let me out right now, or I'll smash all your treasures to pieces and won't make you pay for it. Don't cry then!"
The room remained silent, as if the mechanical female voice had never been there.
"Hey, I have such a short temper!"
Ji Fengming was so angry that he gritted his teeth. He said he would smash it, and then he turned around and picked up a jade cup from a nearby table and smashed it hard on the ground.
"Boom!"
The jade cup made a violent sound in the air, showing how powerful Ji Fengming's smash was.
But the expected sound of the cup shattering did not occur.
The cup defied logic, making a sharp turn in mid-air before flying back to the table exactly as it had been.
Ji Fengming was completely dumbfounded: "...Holy crap?"
Then he tried smashing teapots, vases, incense burners, and even tables and chairs;
Without exception, all of these things flew back to their original positions exactly as they were.
Nothing was broken, but I ended up panting and out of breath.
Ji Fengming felt that his IQ was seriously insufficient, so he had no choice but to give up and lie on the ground, muttering helplessly, "Forget it, with my IQ, I probably can't get out of this house. I'd better stay here quietly and wait for Xiao Chen to come and save me."
