The leader was named Zhuo Cong, and was nicknamed "Zhuo the Two Hammers" because he was skilled with two-handed hammers.
Zhuo Cong was drinking with his two sworn brothers when suddenly several masked men in black jumped over the high wall of the courtyard. The leader of the group was carrying a woman dressed in a gorgeous dress on his shoulder.
Zhuo Cong and his men immediately stood up and gathered to face the man in black, demanding in a deep voice, "Who goes there!"
The man tossed the woman on his shoulder into the middle of the two sides and said in a deliberately low voice, "Aren't you looking for the Ninth Prince? We've brought you a hostage. This is the Ninth Prince's most favored maid, named Xique."
"What use is a maidservant, not even the Ninth Prince's Consort?" Zhuo Cong glanced at the unconscious Xi Que with disdain and said, "She is quite pretty, though. It is said that she and the Ninth Prince's Consort were bandits. How come she looks even fairer than a lady from a noble family?"
The implication is:
I'm not well-educated, so don't try to fool me by grabbing just anyone!
The man in black didn't explain to them, coldly saying, "Whether it is or not, your master will know once you hand her over. However, don't blame me for not warning you, this is your only chance. If you kill her before your master confirms her identity, a dead person won't be able to control the Ninth Prince, and might even provoke those bandits, inciting their crazy revenge against your master."
"Hehe, you don't need to worry about that. Now that the person is in our hands, we will naturally treat him well..." Zhuo Cong stroked his chin and leered at the unconscious Xi Que on the ground.
But before he could finish speaking, the men in black left behind a few disdainful and contemptuous glances, then turned and walked away, completely disregarding him.

Looking around at his equally bewildered underlings, Zhuo Cong felt even more humiliated. He took a deep breath and roared, "What are you looking at? Hurry up and carry him inside!"
Several henchmen stepped forward and approached Xique, then turned back and asked, "Boss, which house are we carrying?"
Upon hearing this, Zhuo Cong's sworn brother, the second brother, stepped forward and slapped the guy on the head, saying, "Which room can we carry him to? Of course, we'll carry him to the eldest brother's room. Do you think you can carry him to your own room?"
A burst of unrestrained laughter immediately erupted in the courtyard.
The night was deep.
Ji Fengyao, however, was wide awake. To her, Xique was no different from a sister, and she was more anxious than anyone else that Xique had disappeared.
Shang Xiye understood her, so he gently held her hand and asked softly, "My dear wife, you haven't said much all night. Is there something you're not comfortable saying in front of everyone?"
“Your Highness, Xique possesses cultivation approaching the fourth level of the Spirit Gathering Realm. Anyone capable of abducting her must be no ordinary person,” Ji Fengyao gripped Shang Xiye’s hand tightly. “In the cultivation world, there is actually a Spirit Butterfly Searching Technique.
