Seeing his mother walk out of the house without looking back, Xia Tian turned his attention to Xia Zhenxing.
"Dad, can we make a deal? How can we let you do this dirty and tiring cleaning job? How about you let me do this job and pick up Mengyun for me?"
Xia Zhenxing quickly shook his head: "What nonsense are you talking about, kid? Mengyun is your girlfriend, your future wife. If you don't go to pick her up, how can I, as her father, go to pick her up?"
"Okay, if you're fine, go upstairs, change clothes and leave. Don't delay me from cleaning."
After saying that, he stood up and started to clean up the dishes.
