Xia Tian was just worrying about how to start talking to Qiu Mengyun about the graduation ceremony when he suddenly received a voice call request from Qiu Mengyun. He was like a sleepy man who had just received a pillow, and he happily clicked to accept the call.
"Hey! Xia Tian, where are you now? Is it free to talk?" Qiu Mengyun didn't directly say what he was talking about, but first asked about his current environment. After all, Xia Tian was still a student, and who knew if he was with classmates or teachers. If he accidentally let something slip about the two of them, it would be troublesome.
Xia Tian smiled and said, "I'm in the dormitory. My roommates are all out, and I'm the only one in the dormitory right now."
"Oh, let me tell you something. My parents and my brother just called me. I've already dealt with my parents, so they probably won't be coming here for the time being. But my third brother seems to be quite prejudiced against you. He actually thinks you're dating me just for my money."
"Although I just warned him not to interfere in our affairs, I'm afraid he'll come to you privately and threaten or bribe you. If a strange man approaches you in the next two days, you must be careful!"
After learning that Xia Tian was able to talk freely, Qiu Mengyun immediately expressed her concerns.
Xia Tian nodded: "Don't worry, I can handle these things. If your brother comes to see me, I will send him away."
Seeing that Xia Tian didn't complain or feel dissatisfied at all, and accepted the impending trouble calmly, Qiu Mengyun was very surprised. Based on her previous understanding of Xia Tian, he was not so easy to deal with. Knowing that she had caused him trouble again, shouldn't he be very angry and complain to her, or coldly say that this was his own problem and had nothing to do with him?
She asked curiously, "Xia Tian, my brother is going to cause trouble for you, aren't you angry?"
Xia Tian said gently, "Why should I be angry? Ever since I agreed to pretend to be your boyfriend, I've been prepared for all the trouble. Besides, it's not a big deal. Even though we're fake, in your family's eyes, we're a real couple. Now you tell me that your parents have dealt with it, and you just have a brother who needs me to deal with. This is great news for me."
"Hehe! I didn't expect you to be so reliable. It seems that my vision is really good. I really found the right person to cooperate with you." Qiu Mengyun said happily.
"Of course. We are now on the same boat. If there are difficulties, we should face them together, don't you think?" Xia Tian said gently.
Qiu Mengyun nodded: "Yes! That's right. In the days to come, we must stick together and face the storm together."
Seeing Qiu Mengyun agreed, Xia Tian smiled and said, "Mengyun, I actually have something I want to tell you."
Qiu Mengyun was in a very good mood at the moment. She smiled and said, "If you have something to say, just tell me. There's no need to be so secretive. Didn't I just say that we are in the same boat now and we have to stick together?"
Xia Tian said a little embarrassedly, "Ahem, here's the thing. After the news broke out on Weibo this morning, a few of my roommates recognized me from my photos. I figured I couldn't hide it anymore, so I told them. When I told them, they promised to keep it a secret. But I didn't expect those guys to be so unreliable. As soon as I told them, they spread the story. Now, just one morning has passed, and everyone in our school knows that I'm your mysterious boyfriend."
"Oh, I thought it was a big deal, but it turns out to be just this! It's okay, just know it when you know it. Anyway, I was planning to make an official announcement in two days. They just knew it two days in advance, so it doesn't have much impact." Qiu Mengyun said nonchalantly.
No wonder Third Brother said everyone at Magic City University knew about his relationship with Xia Tian. It turned out some of his roommates had spread the news. Qiu Mengyun didn't take this minor incident seriously. She only cared about whether Xia Tian had done it intentionally and whether she had misjudged him. Now that she had received confirmation, not only was she not angry, but she actually felt better.
"Actually, besides this matter, I have something else to tell you, and I need your help." Xia Tian said cautiously.
"What's the matter? Tell me first." Although she was in a good mood, Qiu Mengyun did not agree immediately.
"Well, our affair has become known to everyone in school! Just this afternoon, the vice-president of our college came to me and wanted me to invite you to attend our graduation ceremony next week."
"Why don't you just reject him directly? What's the matter? Do you want me to participate?" Qiu Mengyun asked doubtfully. Based on his understanding of Xia Tian, this guy didn't seem like the kind of person who would be easily morally kidnapped.
Xia Tian smiled awkwardly. "Haha, of course I didn't want to bother you. But I was delayed a while ago and missed an elective course! Vice Dean Wang used this to threaten me, implying that I had to invite you over to successfully resolve the issue of failing the course."
Qiu Mengyun suddenly realized that it was no wonder this guy was so easy to talk to. It turned out that someone had something on him.
"Don't worry too much. It's just attending your school's graduation ceremony! It's not a big deal. I don't have any plans lately anyway, so it's no big deal for me to go over and help you out."
