Chapter 15: Encountering a Vengeful Spirit

"Lian'er, don't make things difficult for him, bring the things in!"

The door opened.

Chen Chu was stunned at first glance!

Hai Xin was eating pastries with her head down, and then began to drink tea from the teapot.

She has not a trace of the demeanor of a young lady.

"Cough cough!"

Chen Chu coughed.

The maid was displeased and quickly scolded him.

Hai Xin shook her head, took the roast chicken, tore off a chicken leg, and handed it to Chen Chu.

"I don't know either, you're the first one I've ever met."

Hai Xin said this while eating.

Chen Chu then asked, "I just heard from the servants that you had a nightmare last night, and Master Wang even wanted to hire a Taoist priest to perform a ritual. What's going on?"

Hearing Chen Chu say this, Hai Xin frowned.
