First kiss
"Fight like you're in a fight." Deng Yi slowly moved the towel that had been wiping her forehead to her slender neck.
Zhou Ji'an's chest heaved rapidly, and upon hearing his words, he became even more anxious, urgently asking, "Are you injured?"
Deng Yi just looked at her, the fluffy towel in his hand still not leaving her skin exposed outside her white short-sleeved T-shirt.
"Say something!" Zhou Ji'an asked more and more urgently, his finger reaching towards Deng Yi's body. "Wei Jinglin hit the hardest. He knocked Xu Zhiyan to the ground while playing basketball with him."
“He’s injured.” Deng Yi grabbed her hand. “I’m not. I hit him harder than he did.”
Zhou Ji'an then noticed that his fingers were covered in white powdered sugar. He flicked his fingertips back, grinned slightly in embarrassment, and said with a smile, "It's good that you won."
A warm current seemed to flow through Deng Yi's palm, and the muscles on his face twitched slightly. "Aren't you afraid of me?"
"Hmm? Why should I be afraid of you?" Zhou Ji'an asked.
"I was just afraid you were afraid of me." Deng Yi breathed a sigh of relief. "I'll take you to wash your hands."
Zhou Ji'an was still pondering the meaning behind his words when he was grabbed by the wrist and led to the bathroom.
"I'll go wash myself." Zhou Ji'an's steps were small, and he was very uncomfortable being pulled along by Deng Yi, who had big steps. So he shouted to Deng Yi to let go as they walked, "My legs are almost twisted together."
Deng Yi turned around to face her and stepped back. "Would this be better?"
It's a little better.
But it's strange.
Zhou Ji'an's legs were separated, but his breaths were tangled together.
They don't seem to have ever been this close before.
Deng Yi used to hold her hand, but never for this long.
Zhou Ji'an nodded, his heart trembling as he smelled the fragrance emanating from Deng Yi.
After washing her hands, Deng Yi didn't let go of her. He pulled her back to the waiting room, found a blue and white sun hat, and put it on her head. "We're going to shoot on location, so put this hat on."
"Why are you giving me another gift?" Zhou Ji'an muttered to himself, raising his left hand to touch the brim of his hat.
"It's not a gift, it's basic equipment that the boss provides to part-time workers." Deng Yi smiled and gently stroked her chin.
He became affectionate towards her again.
Zhou Ji'an raised his chin high and said happily, "You're always like this. I don't dare to tell others that I work part-time at your studio, for fear that someone else will try to take my place."
Deng Yi gently tapped her brow and said with pleasure, "That would be best."
After the outdoor filming was completed, dark clouds gathered in the sky.
Fearing a sudden downpour, Zhou Ji'an moved the equipment and props at an extremely fast pace.
Seeing her running around again, Deng Yi sighed helplessly, "Be careful not to fall."
"No, it won't hurt." Zhou Ji'an put a handful of withered flowers into a plastic bag. "It's okay if you fall, it's all grass anyway, it won't hurt."
“I have connections.” Deng Yi picked up the things she had gathered with both hands. “Don’t run, it’s okay if you get wet in the rain.”
Zhou Ji'an felt that the sun hat was not very effective because her face and neck were still very hot.
After everything was settled, Zhou Ji'an calculated the time and said, "I won't go back to the studio with you. I'll just take a bus back to school from here."
Deng Yi looked at the sky, then at the time, and said, "I'll take you back to school first."
"No need, no need." Zhou Ji'an certainly didn't want him to go through such trouble. "It's not far from here to the school."
As the two were talking, a sudden downpour began.
How big is it?
Zhou Ji'an felt like he had been slapped in the face by God.
"Get in the car first," Deng Yi called out.
At this moment, there was no way to refuse. Zhou Ji'an hurriedly got into the car, and Deng Yi immediately handed him a towel, saying, "Wipe yourself off."
Fortunately, they weren't soaked for too long, and their clothes weren't completely drenched. Zhou Ji'an took a towel, dried his hair and face, and handed it back, saying, "Do you want to dry off?"
"Okay, can you wipe this for me? I need to reply to a message." Deng Yi leaned his head over her shoulder.
Zhou Ji'an stiffened for a moment, then slowly approached Deng Yi's dark head, gently wrapping the towel around his head and rubbing it repeatedly.
Even through the towel, Zhou Ji'an could tell that Deng Yi's hair was very smooth.
His hair is in very good condition and has a lot of strands.
"And the neck," Deng Yi said, looking down at his phone as he replied to a message.
The towel slid down to his neck.
The thumb, sneaky and lazy, reached over the towel and touched his neck.
Yes, his skin is very smooth.
After replying to the message, Deng Yi suddenly looked up and said, "And here too."
Zhou Ji'an, who had done something wrong, was so frightened that his mind went completely blank.
He tilted his head back, and her gaze fell on his throat.
Is he referring to his Adam's apple when he says "here"?
Zhou Ji'an didn't dare to breathe, his eyes wide open, as he awkwardly tugged at the towel and wiped his Adam's apple.
Deng Yi didn't call a stop, and the more Zhou Ji'an wiped his head, the more confused he became.
Finally, realizing that she shouldn't have spent so long wiping her neck, she asked nervously, "Do I need to wipe it again?"
A smile played on Deng Yi's lips. "I want more."
Upon hearing this, Zhou Ji'an pulled up a corner of the towel and bent down to carefully wipe his neck, which was no longer wet.
Deng Yi's Adam's apple bobbed under her hand. "Jian, wipe it later."
Zhou Ji'an immediately withdrew the towel and his hands, looking directly at the world blurred by the rain.
She and Deng Yi seemed to be in another world, a world where it was just the two of them.
That's wonderful. I wish it could stay like this forever.
Once the thought crossed her mind, Zhou Ji'an decided to muster up the courage and shamelessness to ask Deng Yi if she could stay overnight at his studio.
Deng Yi suddenly said, "How about we skip going back to school today and stay at the studio instead?"
They actually thought of the same thing.
Zhou Ji'an wanted to say yes immediately.
Deng Yi, still worried that she might feel uncomfortable, said first, "If you feel uncomfortable, I can take you back to school and then go straight home. You can bring these things to the studio tomorrow."
Zhou Ji'an shook his head, then nodded, "It's convenient."
Zhou Ji'an, who had finally managed to stay at Deng Yi's studio, looked around and saw Deng Yi packing his bag again. He asked anxiously, "Aren't you staying here tonight?"
Deng Yi turned around, put down his bag, and asked, "Do you want me to stay here?"
Zhou Ji'an did not answer his question directly, but said, "I'm a little scared living alone."
Deng Yi smiled and said, "Then I'll stay here."
The heavy rain continued, accompanied by thunder and lightning and strong winds. Zhou Ji'an sat close to Deng Yi.
She was always afraid that the wind or lightning would break the window and then hit the electrical appliances inside, or her and Deng Yi.
"Aren't you scared when you live here alone?" Zhou Ji'an asked.
Deng Yi thought for a moment and omitted a word, "fear".
“Then don’t live here alone anymore,” Zhou Ji’an said earnestly.
Deng Yi joked, "Will you stay with me from now on?"
Zhou Ji'an didn't dare to speak his mind. He opened a bag of potato chips and started eating them silently.
"I was just kidding. I rarely stay here." Deng Yi leaned back on the sofa, one hand resting on the back of the sofa.
Zhou Ji'an was disappointed but also relieved. Holding the potato chips, he asked, "Want some?"
Smelling the lime, Deng Yi asked, "What does it smell like?"
Zhou Ji'an looked down and replied, "Lime flavored."
As Zhou Ji'an looked up, Deng Yi leaned closer to her and opened his mouth.
This Deng Yi is acting strange today; it's like he doesn't have hands.
"Is it good?" Zhou Ji'an fed him a piece. "Does it taste pungent?"
As the rain subsided and the noise in the air decreased, Zhou Ji'an heard Deng Yi say, "It's delicious, because it's what you like to eat."
Zhou Ji'an lowered his head and smiled with his lips pursed.
She didn't need to look in the mirror to know that she must be looking smug and proud.
The studio space is not small, but the only places that can be used for sleeping are the reception room and the lounge. The reception room only has a sofa, and the lounge only has a bed.
After Deng Yi made up the bed, which was about 1.5 meters wide, in the lounge, he asked Zhou Ji'an, who had finished washing up, "Want to watch a movie for a while?"
It's still early, we should watch a movie.
"What are you looking at?" Zhou Ji'an followed Deng Yi into the lounge.
The bed faces a white wall with a screen on it. Zhou Ji'an and Deng Yi usually watch movies sitting on the bed. Zhou Ji'an is actually used to this kind of intimacy between the two of them.
But today was slightly different because she was wearing the same T-shirt and shorts that Deng Yi had worn.
Zhou Ji'an awkwardly moved the chair over and sat down on the edge of the bed.
"Go to bed," Deng Yi, who was also dressed in a T-shirt and shorts, shouted.
They must smell the same.
Zhou Ji'an's heart was pounding just thinking about it. If she were close to Deng Yi, she would breathe in his scent directly, and she was afraid that she would lose control of her wicked thoughts again, just like before.
"I'll sit here." Zhou Ji'an forcefully suppressed his evil thoughts.
Deng Yi sat on the edge of the bed and continued to entice her, "Sitting on the bed is more comfortable, you've experienced it before."
His fearless demeanor rekindled Zhou Ji'an's extinguished confidence.
He may not have intentionally avoided her kiss that day.
Zhou Ji'an moved to the bed and leaned against the headboard. Deng Yi draped a summer blanket over her legs.
A romantic movie was playing on the screen.
The male and female protagonists lay under the night sky, with the light only shining on their upper bodies and faces.
The female protagonist asked, "Do you know what I want?"
The male protagonist said, "What?"
The female lead said, "I was kissed."
What a coincidence!
Zhou Ji'an stole a glance at Deng Yi's profile and impulsively started cheering.
At that moment, Deng Yi suddenly called her name, "Ji'an".
"Hmm?" Zhou Ji'an replied.
Deng Yi turned his head and looked at her as well.
Without the lights on, the light on his face was as faint yet warm as that of the male and female protagonists in a movie.
His face is as handsome as the male and female protagonists in movies.
Zhou Ji'an gripped the blanket tightly and leaned in to kiss his lips.
She was still afraid he would avoid her, so she stayed for less than a second.
The male and female leads in the movie start kissing.
Zhou Ji'an came up with what he thought was a suitable excuse: "I saw them being intimate, and I wanted to give it a try too."
My heart was beating so fast, even faster than when I ran 800 meters at full speed during a physical fitness test.
Deng Yi didn't say anything, but leaned down and kissed her like people in a movie.
