Final remarks + extra preview + new book discussion

It's the end.

It feels a bit rushed.

It's still a bit off.

But... this story should be considered complete.

Some plots that cannot be included in the main storyline will be released in the extra chapters. Those who dig holes and don't fill them are not good people.

If you want to see any extra chapter, you can leave a comment in the next paragraph. Just like the one you want to see. I will write it in the order of likes and release it for free when the status is restored.

The booking page for the extra episode is here.

To be honest, Hu La Tang was a little unsatisfactory with this ending.

But I have tried my best. My mental state has been terrible for two or three months. I can sense that something is wrong, but my energy and strength are not enough to find a better way to deal with it.

I thought about adjusting midway, but I'm in such a rotten state that I can't recover without adjusting for more than half a month.

The young author doesn't dare to stop updating and can only update with gritted teeth.

Let’s summarize the experience.

This book was published on October 8 last year and it is now May 31, with 2.17 million words updated in 230 days.

Thanks to the frequent updates, the number of orders has increased from 370 to 10,000. I am very satisfied with it.

However, the rapid pace of updates also brought many side effects. I often had to rush to write manuscripts because I didn't have any manuscripts left, which resulted in many ill-considered plots. The chaotic rhythm in the last half was also one of the consequences.

I must stockpile more manuscripts for the next book and think carefully about the plot. I can’t rush the manuscripts anymore…

Looking back on this book, I feel more and more regretful.

Hu Latang is an experiential writer who often writes in an immersive manner. When writing, he puts himself into the shoes of the protagonist and all the important supporting characters. Although he wrote a lot of criticized plots in the early stages, overall the characters in the early stages are the most vivid.

Then, there were two turning points.

The first turning point was the rise of Yang in mid-December, which directly led to a lack of energy and a continued decline.

But after that, it was actually OK.

The second turning point was the plot of "The End of Meidu". There were a lot of fancy tricks and four parallel lines that made me exhausted. The sense of immersion took a sharp turn for the worse, and the writing state became worse and worse. It was so difficult to write that I once thought about cutting the book.

But there is absolutely no way my family would become a eunuch.

So I gritted my teeth and forced myself to use the outline writing method, which probably started from the time when I left the Kingdom of Li and fought the demons.

From this plot on, the writing is no longer depressing, but the pace can't be stopped. In addition, my mental state is getting worse and worse, the immersion in writing has become worse, and I have almost given up all the side plots that can be given up.

But the strange thing is that the reading of this part of the plot is actually stable, which is very strange (Hu La Tang attributed this to having too much fun and pretending too much, I don’t know if it’s right)

This book... I learned a lot after reviewing it.

First, I understand what to write and what not to write (嘤嘤嘤 was sprayed)

Second, I realized that what I am best at is making jokes and entertaining people.

Third, I learned a lot of important common sense about online writing from my editor Ziliang (I used to write instinctively, which made me cry).

The next book will definitely be a step up, it just depends on whether I can make it to the top or not.

The subject of the new book has been roughly decided, and it's still fictional history + fairy tales + multiple female protagonists, but the approach and writing style will be quite different.

I will polish the details, exercise well, and adjust my physical and mental state. I will start writing when I am back to normal. I will publish the book when I have accumulated 100,000 manuscripts. It should be published in mid-July, with a fluctuation of half a month.

Before a new book is published, all the extra chapters of the old book will be released.

I'll tell you a number.

More than five articles!

Thank you for your company over the past eight months.

Hu La Tang bows to everyone!
