Chapter 248: Changing tasks, screams rang out

Early in the morning, Director Wang had just gotten up when he was approached by Zhong Yi and his wife.

As soon as he opened the door, he saw two faces full of resentment.

Director Wang forced himself to smile, "Good morning, both of you."

He laughed as he backed away, ready to close the door again. These two men looked ready to eat him alive.

Unexpectedly, Director Wang's intention had already been discovered by the two men. They stepped forward quickly, one on the left and one on the right, and directly carried Director Wang out.

Director Wang kicked his legs so hard that his slippers flew off his feet. His face was filled with fear, and he screamed in terror: "Help! Someone's going to die!"

Then Director Wang was surrounded by two people and pressed against the wall, with their hands like knives on his neck.

Director Wang tactfully shut up and swallowed a large mouthful of saliva. Sure enough, no matter who they were, the resentment of working was overwhelming.

"You two, let's talk it over. Don't get physical. I'm an old man and I can't handle it."

Three "old men" in one play.

Zhong Yi and Fang Qiaoyun glared at each other.

Zhong Yi angrily said, "You know we are too old to handle this, yet you still ask us to carry manure!"

Director Wang chuckled, "Isn't this the mission given by the villagers? We're just responsible for delivering it. As for that mission, it was truly random. I swear, I absolutely did not assign this mission to you on purpose."

Fang Qiaoyun tugged at Director Wang's collar even more fiercely. "Hmph, quickly change us to another task. I can't take it anymore. If you don't, I'll commit suicide and die on your show."

This is serious. Director Wang was so scared that he lost a few hairs.

"Don't be impulsive, don't be impulsive. If you die, I won't be able to explain myself."

Fang Qiaoyun cried, "You're not thinking about our lives, you just feel embarrassed to explain yourself?"

Director Wang immediately raised his hands in surrender: "No, that's not the case. Don't misunderstand me."

"We negotiated with the villagers to get these jobs. Otherwise, it would be much easier to hire a few workers, without having to provide food, and get more work for less money."

"We have to provide you with good food and drink, but you don't do your job well, but you're paid about the same as the workers. They're the ones who have complaints."

Zhong Yi gritted his teeth: "If you don't give us a change, we will go on strike now."

Director Wang pleaded, "Please don't. You are all seniors now. You should set a good example for the younger members of the team. Think about your fans. They would definitely prefer to see you perform."

The two of them got angry when their fans were mentioned. If the camera had not been restrained during the live broadcast and not filmed those disgusting things, they would have no fans at all by now.

Despite this, their fans still declined the offer, crying and saying that their idols had suddenly become smelly and unclean.

I don’t dare to look at them while eating. Every time I eat, I will remember the two of them vomiting.

The good reputation that was hard-earned was destroyed because of a bucket of feces.

The two of them became a joke in the entertainment industry, and were the subject of conversation all the time except after dinner.

"What kind of a life is this? We're almost being killed."

"If you don't exchange tasks for us, I'll force you to do the task with me today. Good friends need to share."

Director Wang's face turned pale. He could do something to keep him alive, but he couldn't do anything to kill him.

Without giving him a chance to speak, the two men carried him away. Turning around, he saw the staff and several guests gathered here, eating sunflower seeds and watching the show.

The three "old men" were instantly embarrassed.

Director Wang moved a few times, and then they let go of each other. Director Wang immediately held his head high and chest out, showing his directorial style.

"Well, hold on for another day. I'll talk to the villagers and find you another job."

The two of them immediately bowed together and said, "Thank you so much, Director. We will never forget this."

If you ignore the gritting of teeth between the two, this is really a happy scene between the director and the guests.

Back in the yard, everyone started working again.

At the strong request of Zhong Yi and his wife, and after bargaining with Grandma Zhao, they finally won the task of carrying grass manure for themselves.

But when they arrived at the bullpen, they were a little dumbfounded.

They thought the manure was already piled aside and they just needed to pick it up and put it into the basket.

Instead, Grandma Zhao handed each of them a spiked rake and pointed at the cattle pens, saying, "This manure still needs to ferment for a few more days. Since you're changing tasks, and today is your last day working here, pick out the ready-made manure and load it up to take to the paddy fields."

The cows inside shook their heads, chewed the grass, and ate with a smacking sound. Just by listening to the sound, I could tell that they were quite hungry.

"This, we!"

Grandma Zhao once again looked at them with disdain: "You can't even complete this task, right?"

"You're still on a mission. You'd better go back and be your big star. Don't bother coming to the village if you have nothing to do."

Being looked down upon again.

The two men lowered their eyes, hiding the resentment in their eyes.

After putting on the mask, I resigned myself to my fate and got to work.

When cows see people, they subconsciously think they are here to feed them grass and stick their heads out to look.

There were several cows in each cowshed, taking up all the space at the door, making it impossible for them to carry out their work.

It is not easy to pick out some grass dung from the gap between the cow's feet.

Although the smell of cow dung is different from the previous one, it is still very smelly and unbearable.

After digging for a long time, only a little bit of grass was dug out, which made Grandma Zhao very angry.

"Move aside, I'll show you how."

She snatched the rake from Fang Qiaoyun's hand, then drove the cow aside, stretched her hand as far in as possible, and when she came out, a large pile of grass dung was dug out with the rake.

"See? Can you please stop being so timid? It takes a whole day to collect a load of manure. What a waste of time."

Grandma Zhao threw the rake to Fang Qiaoyun again. She hit it a little hard and the rake almost hit Fang Qiaoyun's foot, which scared her.

The man jumped back two steps, but his hand failed to catch the rake, and it fell to the ground, and his hand just happened to get stuck in the cow dung.

"Ugh!" Fang Qiaoyun couldn't hold it in again and went out to vomit violently.

However, after Grandma Zhao demonstrated, the two of them stopped fighting over the steamed buns and fought for face. They followed her example, drove the cows aside, and then started digging up cow dung.

The speed was indeed much faster. In one morning, we managed to make at least seven or eight deliveries.

I can eat a little at noon.

In the afternoon, the two started working again with full confidence.

While Fang Qiaoyun was herding the cattle, something unexpected happened: two cows suddenly started fighting for unknown reasons, and one of them suddenly raised its hoof and kicked the other.

The other cow dodged, revealing Fang Qiaoyun standing behind it and chasing it away.

"Ah!" A scream resounded throughout the Shenniu Village.
