Chapter 11 Father and Son

"Okay, Mr. Ren must have gone to accompany his girlfriend. Why didn't he reply to @?"

In Class 9 of Grade 2 in No. 3 Middle School, students who had just finished their last class gathered together, chatting idly on their cell phones, and were always ready to run out of the classroom, take a walk in the playground, or find a place to play cards.

After the last class of the second year of high school, there is a two-hour evening self-study session, which is mostly used to help students with their homework. Of course, there are also a small number of teachers who use this time to give students free "make-up" lessons.

However, tutoring usually happens in better classes, such as Class 1 and Class 3.

The teachers had long turned a blind eye to the group of 'abandoned' students in Class Nine. As long as they behaved themselves and didn't cause trouble for themselves, they were too lazy to care.

The students in Class 9 were too lazy to care about the teacher's expression, so there were often only a few "timid" ones left in the evening study class to continue sleeping. The brave ones would basically just find a place to brag, or play cards in the sports department until school was over.

It’s not that they don’t want to skip school, but it’s quite difficult to skip school at No. 3 Middle School because the surrounding walls are too high.

"If he doesn't reply, then he didn't reply. Anyway, he agreed to bring the hotpot." Wang Bo shook his neck and stretched.

"Brother Bo, you are not really planning to bring hot pot to eat in Teacher Ren's class..., isn't that a little too blatant?" A thinner boy looked hesitant.

"Okay, you were the one who just asked me to bring a few more sets of bowls and chopsticks. You're not going to back down now, are you?" Wang Bo looked at the other person with a smile.

"It's not that I'm a coward, it's mainly because I've never done this before, and I feel like it's a bit over the line." Li Cheng scratched his neck.

"Who said it hasn't been done before? Don't forget that the alcohol lamp was provided by your grandson." Wang Bo rolled his eyes.

“But wasn’t it New Year’s Day then? It was understandable that I acted foolishly. But this time, the class was broadcast live. If my dad saw it, I think you might never see me again.” Li Cheng still seemed very embarrassed.

"Okay, kid, you're afraid that your dad is here to gain fame. If you don't want to participate, just sit in your seat quietly. I'll get other people to make a big table. It shouldn't affect your dad's decision." Wang Bo waved his hand casually.

"Let's go for a drive now, it's almost time for evening study."

"Okay." Li Cheng nodded, and a group of students led by Wang Bo began to walk out of the classroom in a mighty manner.

Just then, Wang Bo's cell phone rang.

Taking out his phone, Wang Bo looked impatient and clicked "Reject" immediately.

But then the second phone rang, and Wang Bo picked it up reluctantly.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Wang Bo's impatient voice came out.

The other party was not moved at all, and his voice was unusually steady and magnetic: "I heard that you were beaten by an amateur teacher today?"

"Yes, but it's none of your business. It's my own choice." Wang Bo's voice was also very calm, but there was still a hint of impatience in it.

"Okay then. I'll call the program crew and ask them to eliminate this amateur guest. His name is Ren Yan, right?" The person on the other end of the phone was still calm, but Wang Bo was a little anxious.

"You dare!"

"I'm doing this for your own good. You can be a poor student, but you can't be bullied."

"It's for my own good, it's for my own good! You say every day that it's for my own good, but I don't feel it at all!" Wang Bo's emotions began to fluctuate violently, and his tone revealed strong dissatisfaction.

"You let me be free-range since I was a child for my own good, and restricted my activities in every way for my own good. Now you want to interfere with my own decision? Can you please be nice to yourself next time!!"

"Wang Bo, when will you listen to your father?" There was finally a clear change on the other end of the phone: "Isn't it all for you that your father does this?"

"I don't need it!" Wang Bo said in a low voice.

After a few minutes of silence on the other end of the phone, there was a voice again: "Okay, I get it. Is the money enough?"

"Enough." Wang Bo's tone gradually softened, but his impatience became even stronger.

"I..., your mother and I will probably return to China next month..."

"She's not my mother."

Click. After saying this, Wang Bo hung up the phone, took a few deep breaths, and closed his eyes.

Scenes of memories kept flashing through my mind.

Suddenly, he felt someone tapped his shoulder.

Li Cheng sighed and spread his hands: "Oh, forget it, count me in tomorrow and go to my f*cking dad. The worst that can happen is a beating and scolding. What's the big deal? Who made us have a weakling who wants to cry?"

"Get lost!" Wang Bo laughed and punched him, but in the end he patted his shoulder and said, "Thank you."

"No big deal, then shall we continue playing cards?" Li Cheng replied with a smile.

"Let's go." Wang Bo quickly wiped his eyes, pulled his friends, and walked out of the classroom.

......

Europe. A country.

Wang Shanhai looked at his cell phone which had gone dark, then looked at the scenery outside the floor-to-ceiling window and sighed heavily.

"Xiao Bo, are you still not listening?" A soft female voice came, and a young woman with a graceful figure and pretty face came over with two glasses of red wine and handed one of them to Wang Shanhai.

"Yeah..., this child has become a different person since her mother passed away. She doesn't obey discipline at all." Wang Shanhai took the wine glass, looked at the flashing neon lights outside the window and took a sip.

"Disobeying discipline? I think this Ren Yan has a very important position in his heart this time. It was obviously the first time they met, and he even beat him up, but he was still speaking for this Ren Yan, wasn't he?" The woman gently kneaded Wang Shanhai's shoulders.

"You already know everything."

"It's written on your face. How can I not guess it?" The woman smiled.

Wang Shanhai also smiled: "I just like your cleverness. You are much better than other girls."

"That's because they just want to be a vase."

"Don't you want to?" Wang Shanhai looked at the other person teasingly: "Being a vase is very comfortable."

"Yeah, the kind of comfort that you might be abandoned at any time?" The woman still chuckled: "I don't want to be abandoned at any time. It's more reassuring to have control in my own hands."

As she spoke, the woman moved her hands and Wang Shanhai's face trembled.

"However, I think you can go meet Teacher Ren. Maybe he can be the button for the harmony between you and your father." The woman loosened her grip and still maintained her smile.

"Ren Yan? Xiao Bo is so protective of her, you really should go and meet her." Wang Shanhai nodded, then looked at her with a smile.

"But aren't you afraid that I'll ignore you after Xiao Bo and I make peace?"

"I think that's why you really ignored me because I dissuaded you from reconciling." The woman took a sip of red wine and her face flushed slightly.

“Hahaha, it’s you~~” Wang Shuanghai laughed and picked up the woman.

The neon lights outside the window kept flickering, gradually appearing with a layer of red glow.
