Lin Xihe was startled, thinking she had misheard. She unconsciously frowned and stared at Mu Ruoyan with a look of confusion in her eyes.

He ignored Lin Xihe and walked to the bedside on his own. Then he lay down on the bed casually, crossing his hands behind his head.
"Miss Lin, aren't you afraid I'll lie to you?" Mu Ruoyan looked at Lin Xihe with a half-smile, as if admiring an interesting toy.
Lin Xihe remained silent, kneeling quietly in the same spot, like a silent statue.
Perhaps finding it boring, Mu Ruoyan watched for a while, then went to bed on her own.
Once the person on the bed stopped moving and the room fell into a deathly silence, Lin Xihe slowly closed her eyes and silently called out to the system in her heart.
