Inside the room, Lin Xihe's desperate cries mingled with Mu Ruoyan's heavy breathing.
Suddenly, Lin Xihe's mind drifted to the wedding she had with Ji Zhuo that hadn't yet taken place.
She looked at Mu Ruoyan, her eyes filled with determination. Suppressing her fear and anger, she calmly said, "If you want to force me to die, then continue!"
Upon hearing this, Mu Ruoyan froze instantly. He glared fiercely at Lin Xihe, his eyes seeming to want to devour her alive.
"Threatening me with suicide? You think that will work? Is there no one else in this world you care about?"
Then, as if he was completely enraged, he suddenly leaned down and bit Lin Xihe's shoulder hard.
"ah!"
Lin Xihe screamed in pain as blood instantly seeped from her shoulder, the crimson stains starkly against her fair skin.
Mu Ruoyan released her mouth, blood still trickling from the corner: "Don't threaten me with death, that's the most useless thing to do. I won't let you go, and as long as I live, you can only be mine!"
But after he finished venting his anger, he looked at Lin Xihe and saw that her little face was scrunched up in pain.
That trembling body and pained expression were like a sharp dagger, piercing straight into Mu Ruoyan's heart.
His heart tightened suddenly, a sense of self-blame welled up inside him, and his reason returned slightly.
He got up from Lin Xihe, no longer pressing down on her, and reached out to pull the thin blanket next to him and cover her with it.
As soon as Lin Xihe regained her freedom, she immediately sat up, grabbed Mu Ruoyan's hand, and bit down hard on the back of his hand.
She bit down hard, as if she wanted to repay double the humiliation and pain she had just suffered.
Mu Ruoyan let her bite him, his hand remaining still.
Despite the escaping pain, he suddenly smirked, his tone laced with mockery and madness: "I did other things to you just now, are you going to pay me back for that too?"
Lin Xihe gritted her teeth and glared fiercely at Mu Ruoyan, only to find that his gaze was fixed on her.
Before she knew it, the blanket had slipped down to her abdomen, revealing a glimpse of her skin.
Mu Ruoyan's Adam's apple bobbed as she swallowed.
Lin Xihe was both ashamed and angry. She shook off his hand, hugged the quilt, and shrank into a corner.
"Shameless!"
Lin Xihe's voice trembled with tears as she cursed, "Shameless!"
Mu Ruoyan raised her hand, turning it around, looking at the bloody bite mark on the back of her hand, which bore a striking resemblance to the mark on Lin Xihe's shoulder. She murmured, "That's good. This one belongs to us."
Looking at him like this, Lin Xihe couldn't help but curse again: "You pervert!"
Lin Xihe curled up at the foot of the bed, her body still trembling uncontrollably. She was both angry and afraid, and looked timidly at Mu Ruoyan.
Looking at Lin Xihe like this, Mu Ruoyan's desire for her grew stronger.
Memories of Nanzhao flooded back. She had been tormented by him until she begged for mercy, and her pitiful appearance was now vividly before his eyes. Thinking of the taste she gave him made him want to possess her immediately.

Mu Ruoyan suddenly stood up, walked a few steps to the soft couch by the bed, reached for the teapot on the table, poured a cup of cold tea, and drank it all in one gulp.

As soon as I reached the bedside, I saw a faint blush on Lin Xihe's face, and her eyes became hazy and unfocused, clearly indicating that she was under the influence of alcohol.
She slurred her words but remained huddled in the same spot, muttering curses under her breath, oblivious to Mu Ruoyan's approach.
Mu Ruoyan took a long stride, kneeling on the bed with one leg, and placed her hands on her hands in front of Lin Xihe, casting a shadow over her.
Lin Xihe finally reacted, shrinking back in fright like a startled rabbit.
"Lin Xihe, you still dare to curse me?" Mu Ruoyan's voice was deep, carrying a hint of warning.
Lin Xihe gritted her teeth, her cheeks puffed out in anger, turned her head away from him, and stubbornly cursed again, "Shameless."
It looked like a cat with its fur standing on end; though small, it was still trying to fight back.
Mu Ruoyan sighed helplessly, thinking, "Let her scold me, I can't really hit her."
He simply adjusted his posture, sat down against the wall, and quietly watched her.
After a while, Lin Xihe's eyes began to glaze over, and her head bobbed up and down, as if she might fall asleep at any moment.
Mu Ruoyan thought she was about to pass out drunk, but just then, Lin Xihe suddenly raised her head, her eyes glazed over, and her voice became soft and sweet: "Mu Ruoyan, what brings you here?"
Mu Ruoyan was slightly taken aback, a hint of doubt flashing in her eyes.
Is she out of her mind from drinking?
When she acts like this, it's almost always because she's scheming against him and deceiving him.
This time will probably be no exception.
However, it was rare for her to show such a confused and adorable side, and even though Mu Ruoyan knew in his heart that it might be a trap, he couldn't help but want to play along with her.
Anyway, he's made up his mind and will never let her go.
But when she spoke to him in such a soft and gentle voice, Mu Ruoyan's tone softened unconsciously, and he said softly, "I came to see you."
His voice carried a subtle gentleness, as if afraid of disturbing the dreamlike atmosphere.
