"Lin Xihe, don't make a mistake and then act like a spoiled brat here." Ji Zhuo frowned, his eyes showing a hint of anger, and his voice was as cold as the winter wind.
"So what if I made a mistake? What can you do to me?" Lin Xihe raised her chin slightly, confident that Ji Zhuo would not easily hurt her at this moment, and her confidence was a little stronger, but her slightly trembling fingertips still betrayed a trace of unease deep in her heart.
“I won’t force you. I’ll give you two choices. First, I’ll break your legs and leave you here, while I take all the silver notes and jewels with me. Second, come back to the capital with me.”
Ji Zhuo crossed his arms, his posture upright and aloof. His words were concise and clear, yet they struck Lin Xihe's heart like a heavy hammer.

"The choice is before you. How you decide is up to you." Ji Zhuo's face was expressionless, but his eyes were as sharp as a hawk's, staring intently at Lin Xihe.
Lin Xihe thought to herself that option one was absolutely out of the question. The thought of the excruciating pain and the poverty she might face in the future sent shivers down her spine.
But if I return to the capital, how should I deal with the female lead if she shows up?
"You want me to go back to the capital with you? What are we going back to the capital for?" Lin Xihe asked, trying to appear calm, but her voice trembled slightly.
"I haven't decided yet. I'll wait until I figure out how to get revenge." Ji Zhuo narrowed his eyes slightly, a ruthless glint flashing in them.
"Take revenge on me? I won't go then. Can you give me a third option?" Lin Xihe decided to use her beauty to seduce me.
As she spoke, she slowly lifted a corner of the blanket, reached out and pulled out her hairpin. In an instant, her ink-black hair cascaded down her fair shoulders like a waterfall.
She had intended to create a captivating atmosphere reminiscent of a beautiful woman emerging from a bath, but as soon as she peeked out from under the covers, a wave of chill washed over her, causing her to shiver and quickly retreat back into bed.
After hesitating for a moment, Lin Xihe made up her mind and, along with the blanket, slowly moved in front of Ji Zhuo.
She reached out and held Ji Zhuo's hand tightly, secretly exerting force, trying to soften Ji Zhuo's heart with this intimate gesture. However, her slightly trembling fingers and flustered eyes revealed her inner tension.
Lin Xihe used all her strength, but she shouldn't have been able to pull Ji Zhuo even an inch. However, Ji Zhuo followed her force and slowly sat down on the edge of the bed.
Seeing an opportunity, Lin Xihe seized the chance, grabbed his shoulder, and pushed him down onto the bed.
"Is this what you call the third option?" Ji Zhuo raised his eyes, his gaze carrying a hint of mockery and scrutiny.
Without hesitation, Lin Xihe leaned down and pressed her lips directly against Ji Zhuo's.
She secretly plotted in her heart that if Ji Zhuoruo thought she only knew how to kiss, then she would simply pretend that this was just a honey trap.
After all, they had kissed many times before, so one more time didn't seem to be a big deal.
This was the first time Ji Zhuo had seen Lin Xihe being so proactive, and he still harbored resentment in his heart. He kept his lips tightly pursed and didn't move an inch.
After kissing for a while, seeing that Ji Zhuo had no reaction, Lin Xihe slightly opened her mouth and cautiously probed.
As Ji Zhuo felt Lin Xihe's awkward yet hesitant kiss, his emotions surged like a burst dam, and he could no longer restrain himself. He suddenly flipped over, turning the tables and pinning Lin Xihe firmly beneath him.
However, considering that Lin Xihe was dressed in thin clothes, he quickly covered the two of them completely with a blanket.

Ji Zhuo let out a painful groan and glared fiercely at Lin Xihe: "You woman, do you want to make me childless?"
Lin Xihe feigned innocence, blinking her eyes as she said, "What happened? I didn't mean to."
After saying that, he quickly curled up into a ball and wrapped himself tightly in the blanket.
Ji Zhuo paused for a while, feeling both ashamed and angry, realizing that he had suffered such a misfortune just as he was getting emotional.
But looking at Lin Xihe, who was in tears and looked so pitiful, he couldn't help but feel a pang of self-reproach. This woman, who had clearly stirred his feelings first, was now so endearing.
In the end, Ji Zhuo silently put his clothes back on neatly.
"You coward, if you haven't thought it through, don't provoke me." Ji Zhuo frowned, his eyes filled with anger, and his tone was laced with gritted teeth.
