Chapter 112 Lykan's Discharge from the Hospital (1/2)

After leaving the cave and returning Ruby to her, Ellen and Fagga drove home.

As for the corpse of Demon Number Two, it was thrown into the back of the pickup truck by Fagar.

Walking down the street, Eileen suddenly felt something was off: "Faga, I always felt Ruby's expression was off when she left. She was smiling slyly."

"Is there?"

Fagga recalled for a moment.

But he couldn't recall anything wrong with Ruby's expression; she was still as naive and arrogant as ever.

I wonder if she'll still dare to do this when she teams up with strangers to enter the Void in the future, when Fagar and Ellen aren't around.

"Of course!"

Ellen, her tail swaying, said with her hands behind her back:

"How could I not know her? That girl seizes any opportunity. That photo of her holding the butcher's head that's circulating online was taken by Ruby, and it changed hands several times before being posted online. Have you forgotten?"

"I do remember that..."

Fagga nodded subtly, then turned to look at Elaine: "So you mean..."

Before Faga could finish speaking, both of their phones vibrated simultaneously, interrupting Faga's speech.

What happened?

The two men muttered to themselves, then took out their phones and looked at them, immediately revealing expressions of surprise.

On the phone screen, Ruby had added Fagga and Ellen to a small group chat. Once inside, a photo of the two embracing could be seen.

Ruby: Cough cough, robbery! I have all your photos. If you don't want them deleted, you'll have to treat Ruby to ten... no, twenty hot pot meals!

Fagga: Is that all the ambition you have?

Ruby: ? ? ?

Ruby: What do you mean? Do you mean I asked for too little?

Ruby: Great, I love your straightforwardness! One hundred hot pot meals!!!

"Don't tease her!"

Ellen slapped Fagga on the chest and then started typing on her phone.

Ellen: The hot pot is gone, let's tear up the ticket!

Eileen: By the way, Ruby, didn't you say you were going to dress up as a shark girl? Did you buy the tail?

Ruby: I already ordered it online. But are you sure you don't want to reconsider? These are all bittersweet memories from our relationship!

Ruby: I've kidnapped your memories, aren't you going to try to salvage them?

Five minutes later...

Ruby: Hey, hey! Answer me! Why is nobody talking?!

Fagga: Oh, sorry, I forgot to leave the group.

Fagga: Go ahead and tear up the ticket.

System notification: Fagga has left the group chat.

Not long after, Ruby's phone vibrated, and Eileen also left the group chat.

"What do you mean?!"

Ruby was heartbroken that the photos she had worked so hard to take were not appreciated.

"Damn it, you two! You gave me so much dog food, but you wouldn't even treat Ruby to twenty hot pot meals to cleanse your palate!"

Ruby returned home and sat in her room, looking at the empty house where everyone had left and she was the only one left in the group chat. She couldn't help but feel a deep sadness.

But soon, she turned her grief and anger into strength and went online to see if any nearby photo studios were still open.

"Hmph! I'll print out all the photos, let's see if you'll buy them!"

...

Meanwhile, on the other side...

Fagga took out the key, opened the door, and gently pushed it forward, and light immediately came in from inside.

Following the light, Lycahn sat at the dining table, sipping his coffee. He seemed to hear the click of the door lock and turned his head.
