"There are still some left?"
Lycaen looked around and saw that there were twenty skeletons surrounding him.
Without exception, they all floated in the air, wearing masks on their heads and white veils on their bodies, looking exactly like statues. Only when they opened their mouths did their [core], symbolizing their identity as a skeleton, become visible.
Unfortunately for him, Lycaon was no novice. The moment he saw the rows of statues arranged on both sides of the hall, he knew their identities.
With bones—evil spirits!
However, Lycaon did not make a sound. Instead, he slowly walked to the center of the group of evil spirits disguised as statues. With each step he took, the icy blue color under his feet became even more intense.
Suddenly!
Lycahn stomped his foot on the ground, and the extreme cold spread like a plague in all directions.
Only then did the evil spirits realize just how powerful an enemy they had encountered.
But it was too late for regrets; the terrifyingly low temperatures were already closing in on them. They didn't even have time to escape before they were all frozen into ice sculptures.
"snort!"
Lycahn snorted and stomped his foot on the ground again.
The power of extreme cold arrived again, but it was no longer as gentle as before when it merely froze the ground; instead, it was an unstable and volatile force!
boom!
As the icy blue light drew near, all the ice sculptures exploded in an instant. The evil spirits within were no match for this terrifying power; their limbs were all blown off and scattered on the ground.
Before long, the etheric matter floated upwards, highlighting Lykan, who was looking at his pocket watch in the center of the hall.
Suddenly, Lycahn had an idea. He pressed his finger to close the pocket watch, glanced at it sideways, and frowned slightly: "There's still one?"
As expected, Lycahn fell to the ground.
More than twenty evil spirits emerged from beneath the floor of the hall, their remains passing through it and eyeing Lycaen menacingly.
"To meet an opponent on a narrow path... is that what it means?"
Lykan seemed to remember something and looked down at the doll hanging from his waist.
He found this on his way to find his companions.
He once thought that as long as he found such a doll, he could be forcibly taken into the room by the doll, just like what happened to Ke Lin.
This would make it possible to reunite with Corinne.
But when Lycahn picked up the doll, he realized that the writing on the battered doll seemed different from what he remembered.
Two little dolls... one prefers to fight...
[Cleverness backfires... Meeting an adversary on a narrow path...]
"That's a very apt description of the current situation. Since you have such means, why don't you come out and have a chat? They are just some weak skeletons. Even if there are many of them, they probably won't be able to have much of an impact on me."
Even surrounded by more than twenty evil spirits, Lycaon showed no panic whatsoever. Instead, he tightened his grip on his gauntlets and invited the hidden spirits to come out for a chat.
After all, such a high concentration of ether could not have been caused by such a small amount of low-level ether.
However, Lycaon looked around and the evil spirits and skeletons surrounding him dared not attack recklessly.
Time slipped away quietly as they circled around Lycan, searching for his weaknesses.
One second... two seconds...
Lycan finally lost his patience. With a sigh, he raised his fist and casually tossed aside the battered doll at his waist. At the same time, the metal prosthetic limbs on his lower body shone brightly.
"Since you insist on hiding your identity, then I have no choice but to... personally invite you out!"
As the last syllable fell, Lykan's figure shot out like a cannonball.
The evil spirits and the skeletons only saw a cloud of ice mist burst forth on the spot, and the next second a huge fist suddenly appeared in front of them.
Snap! Bang!
Just one punch!
The evil spirit's mask on its head exploded violently, and its body floated backward.
