At midnight that night, in front of Victoria Home Service.
Eileen stood under a warm streetlamp, adjusting Fagga's collar like a wife packing luggage for her husband before his departure, and personally putting on his usual white gloves, muttering to herself:
"My manager called me earlier and asked her to steal some information about Black Law from the military. It's with Colleen. Remember to check it later."
Fagga's eyes flickered slightly as he suddenly felt something touch his arm. Looking down, he saw that it was Kelin pushing a document that was more than ten pages long in front of him, looking at him with some concern.
"Thank you, Colleen."
Fagga forced a smile and patted Kelin's little head.
A warm, large hand gently stroked her head, and Lyndon, like a little hamster, felt flustered, her face slightly flushed, a little shy.
"Hey, move aside! I have important business to attend to! The sooner I finish, the sooner I can go back to sleep, haha~~~"
Ryan yawned, pulled Kelin behind him by the shoulder, and then slapped Kunmutu into Fagga's arms with his right hand.
Fagar caught it and immediately realized that something felt off.
Looking down, I saw that along with sending Kunmutu the photo, Ryan had also slipped a booklet into the box.
Faga hung the Kunmutu behind him, then picked up the booklet and examined it from both sides, but couldn't make heads or tails of it. He then looked up at Ryan with a puzzled expression:
"This is?"
"Instruction manual".
Ryan rubbed her tired, sore eyes and yawned, saying:
"Boss, I've earned those six million dinis with a clear conscience. The Demon II has been fully hacked, and its main functions have all been transferred to Kunmutu. I've given you the instruction manual; remember to read it."
"Phew~~~~ So tired."
By the end, Ryan was so tired she could barely keep her eyes open. She instinctively walked into the house, hoping to rest at Victoria's place for the night.
The result... Bang!
With her back hunched, Ryan bumped her head into the mailbox in front of Victoria's Housekeeping office, staggered to the ground, and instantly regained her senses.
"Miss Ryan!"
Little Kelin exclaimed in surprise and rushed over to help her up.
“This guy…”
Fagga looked away, shaking his head and chuckling.
Suddenly, a dark shadow flashed across his vision, and he felt a weight on his chest, as if a warm breath was blowing against his heart.
"Ai...Ailian?"
Fagga chanted blankly, momentarily at a loss, but quickly calmed down, his breathing slowed, his eyes softened, and he raised his hand to pinch Ellen's cheek:
"Silly girl, vampires don't get into trouble so easily."
But to everyone's surprise, Eileen immediately slapped Faga's hand away and angrily bit him in the chest, holding on until Faga felt the pain and his muscles twitched slightly before she released him. A glistening tear appeared in her eyes as she choked out:
"Even the Void Hunt has been utterly defeated, and you're still showing off!"
"Listen to me, Fagga Kunmutu!"
Eileen wiped away the tears from the corners of her eyes, glared fiercely at Fagga, and almost forced the words out through clenched teeth:
"You're going this time because you're in the eye of the storm, so you have no choice but to go. But the vampire clan has agreed that they'll be the main force this time, so you just need to do your job well as their assistant, understand?"
"Of course..."
"Of course he knows. Alright, alright, are you all done talking? Our vampire clan's driver has been waiting there for ages. He has a wife and kids waiting for him to come home, you know?"
“Look how deeply he loves his wife; he's still calling her name.”
Before Fagar could say anything more, Byrne suddenly interrupted, pointing to the driver inside the extended Lincoln (Note 1), who was facing away from everyone and doing something.
Fagar couldn't hear what the driver was saying, so he took out his phone and called Ellen, then threw his phone through the window into the car.
Then, under Eileen's questioning gaze, he took Eileen's phone out of her bag.
With a simple swipe, you can turn on hands-free calling.
The next moment, the driver's voice came from the phone, stunning everyone.
Hehehe, Baby Azure Horn, Baby Azure Horn, so cute!
Fagga and Ellen immediately froze, turning their heads blankly to stare at Bourne.
Bourne awkwardly turned his head away.
But then I thought again, I'm all wrapped up like a rice dumpling, who knows what kind of expression I'll have? Dodging would only make me look weak.
So he quickly straightened his back and said calmly, "See, we have to put ourselves in others' shoes. Let people go home early so they can get back to their work!"
As they were talking, Bourne somehow appeared behind Fagga.
Eileen immediately sensed something and slightly raised her hand in an attempt to stop her.
But before she could even raise her little hand, Fagga was already being roughly pushed into the car by Byrne.
The next second, Bourne himself stepped forward, slammed the car door shut, reached out and snatched the driver's phone before he could react, shouting:
"You better focus on driving! Otherwise, I'll hand my phone to Yue Chengliu, and you'll be in big trouble!"
"Yes, yes, yes!"
The driver was horrified and quickly turned the key to start the engine.
Buzz!
