"Hmm, I see."
After listening to Fagga's truncated account, Lina finally understood the general outline of the matter.
"As expected of Fagga, you are a distinguished guest. It seems that Victoria Housekeeping will have two capable assistants from now on."
Lina clasped her hands together to one side of her face, and even her squinting eyes seemed to be smiling.
"Combat strength...as the main force?"
Fagar slowly turned his head and looked strangely at the shark lying on the sofa.
Eileen immediately became dissatisfied, pouting and shouting, "Hey, what's your problem? It's just that the school doesn't allow weapons!"
“I didn’t mean to question you.” Fagar shook his head slightly. “I just suddenly realized your role in Victoria’s domestic service.”
Ellen gritted her teeth, but eventually gave up. She vaguely sensed that Fagga was being sarcastic, but she had no proof.
"Hmph!"
Lina floated over slowly, humming a lullaby softly. She squatted down and arranged the cups on the tray one by one, then looked up at Fagga.
"Faga, what kind of coffee do you like?"
From guest to classmate Fagga, and now to Fagga.
Lina changed quickly, and her relationship with Fagga grew closer and closer, and she already regarded Fagga as one of her own.
"I don't usually drink coffee, but it's worth a try. I hope it's not too bitter."
"Is this the type for beginners? Okay, I understand, Ellen."
Lina patted Ellen on the back, signaling her to be mindful of her manners.
Eileen pouted and reluctantly got up from the sofa.
Seeing that Elaine was seated, Lina said, "Mr. Lykan, please turn on the TV. Let's enjoy the sights of our new member."
Upon hearing this, Lycahn quickly picked up the remote and turned the TV back on.
Soon, the sound came back on the television.
Fagga looked up and saw that the interview about the school being bombed by the hollow had ended.
The TV presenter was swearing and cursing about 14th Street, where apparently a hole disaster had also occurred.
However, unlike Fagga and his group, who were trying to escape from the cave, the Janus District Police Bureau seemed to be arresting people inside the cave.
Fagar had heard of the Red Fang Gang and the White Men.
But that wasn't important. Lina even thoughtfully lowered the volume, using the TV speakers as background noise.
Lina clapped her hands happily and said joyfully:
"That concludes the pleasantries. Student Fagia's resume meets the requirements of Victoria Household Services. Head Maid Lina, on behalf of all the staff of Victoria Household Services, welcomes our new colleague Fagia."
"Everyone, give us a round of applause!"
Clap clap clap!
Lycahn clapped his hands.
Ellen originally intended to just clap a couple of times, but after Lina glared at her, she immediately started clapping enthusiastically.
There were only three people, yet the applause was thunderous. Fagga was somewhat moved, but also a little puzzled: "Resumes?"
"Yes, resume."
Lina took out her phone and showed Fagga the photos he had taken online.
Fagga saw the photo, frowned, and suddenly realized there was a comment section below.
Driven by curiosity, Fagga stretched out his finger and slid it downwards.
[Hey, vampires! Will they come out at night and eat people like in the videotapes?]
"No way? Didn't they say he saved an entire class?"
[Who says it can't? Let me tell you a secret: there's a reason why there are so few vampires in Neo Elido these days.]
Fagga's expression darkened.
Lina immediately realized what was happening, and quickly pulled her phone back to look at it. All she saw were sinister speculations and baseless statements that cut into her heart like knives.
Lina glanced at Fagga, then looked at the comments section on her phone.
