Chapter 197 Before Zhitopia (2/2)

Because of his business dealings, he had met Pompey, the leader of the Triumphs, several times. He felt that Pompey was a down-to-earth person who would never have any entanglements with businesses in the city for any reason.

Therefore, in his view, no matter how much Fagga settles scores, it cannot be attributed to Pompey.

Those are all minor matters!

Just as Fagga was talking to the class monitor, a sound suddenly rang out from not far away.

"Hey~~~ What are you guys still talking about! We found a restaurant here, and it looks really upscale!"

Not far away, Ruby stood with her legs apart, shouting with all her might, and waving to indicate that she was there.

The black and white doll was perched on her head, yawning boredly.

Hearing this, the squad leader kicked the tires backward to propel himself forward and said, "Let's go, let's see what kind of restaurant these girls have chosen. Just don't let it be some kind of kids' restaurant."

Fagar chuckled and shook his head: "There aren't any kids' meal shops in a town like this."

Soon, the two walked over together, and Ruby stomped her feet anxiously at the store entrance.

"You two hurry up! Seriously! Ellen is already ordering, how is she supposed to know what to order if none of you are here?"

"Oh, no need, I've already told the staff to bring out everything they can."

The lazy voice came out suddenly, like a gust of cold wind, startling Ruby so much that she jumped to the side. When she turned around, she realized it was Ellen.

"Phew~~ You scared me to death."

Ruby patted her chest, her expression gradually calming down, but it quickly turned to horror again; "Wait, Ellen, you ordered everything on the menu? That must be incredibly expensive!"

"It's alright, it's on me, Lucius will pay. By the way, what's going on?"

The class monitor also became interested. Although he didn't actually have to pay, he was quite curious as to why Ellen ordered so many dishes.

Eileen, however, crossed her arms over her chest, and there was even a hint of resentment on her delicate face:

"When I ordered the dish that Fagga likes, the manager of this restaurant suddenly ran out of the kitchen and told me that they couldn't make the dish at all because they didn't have the ingredients."

"I tried ordering a few more dishes, but they were still unavailable. I asked her what she could make, and she told me it depended on the inventory; she would make whatever she could."

Ruby's expression instantly became incredibly interesting, her eyebrows shot up high, and every pore seemed to scream with curiosity: "You can open a restaurant like this?"

Eileen shook her head and shrugged: "I don't know. She said they're going to close for a while, and we might be the last customers before they close... Oh, the manager is out."

As Eileen was speaking, she suddenly heard the door open. She turned around and saw that it was the store manager coming out.

The three of them, including Fajia, all looked over.

The newcomer was a woman dressed provocatively, with a wheatish complexion, black hair tied in a ponytail at the back of her head, a traditional-style ribbon across her forehead, and a few strands of hair on each side of her head.

"Hello, I am Casa, the store manager of Zitopan."

Casa bowed and apologized to everyone: "Due to insufficient supply of raw materials, we have to close ahead of schedule."

"I'm sorry, but perhaps we can't let you be the last guests at Zitopia."

"but..."

Perhaps not wanting to disappoint Fagga and the others, Kasa quickly added, "I just heard that the Son of Calydon is holding a funeral feast for someone. You might want to go and take a look."
