Chapter 211 Unfamiliar Car (1/2)

That sound...

Lucius suddenly widened his eyes.

Reason and memory told him that he recognized the voice; it belonged to the director brought by the young master.

But in this situation, the director shouldn't be here at all.

He should have stood outside the stands, watching the race from the Fire Riding spot, waiting to bring news of Pompey's unfortunate passing.

Then everyone laughed together amidst the sorrow, cooperated together, dreamed of the future together, made a lot of money together, and then controlled the entire outer ring.

The script should be like this...

...But why is the director here?!

Lucius turned his head in a daze, his neck creaking like an unoiled machine, until he finally saw Fagga's face. Memories were awakened in fear, his heart leaped into his throat, and his legs trembled.

"You're not the director!!!"

Lucius, drawing strength from who-knows-where, suddenly thrust his arms into Faga's chest, attempting to break free from Faga's control.

As he wished, Faga did not move an inch, but Lucius was thrown back by the recoil.

As he was sent flying, Fagga delivered a follow-up kick, striking Lucius squarely in the abdomen.

puff!

Spitting out a mouthful of acid, Fagar stepped aside and then coldly watched as Lucius knelt on the ground, gasping for breath as if he were about to die.

After a long while, Lucius finally recovered, immediately raised his head, and shrieked:

"You...you're Fagga, the one who survived the car accident I orchestrated...uh!"

Before he could finish speaking, the dark sole of the shoe grew larger and larger in Lucius's eyes until it filled his entire field of vision, and he was kicked over.

"You have a good memory; you even remember it."

As Fagga stepped on Lucius's knee, the fragile bones immediately cracked and creaked under Fagga's trampling. The fine rustling sound was like a wild beast grinding its teeth. Lucius screamed in pain, and the shrill sound was so loud that even the clouds on the horizon, which were reddened by the lake of fire, could not bear it and scattered in all directions.

A ray of light shone through it, and the setting sun shone on Lucius.

Lucius opened his eyes and watched as the surrounding clouds would soon gather again. That last ray of light, like his life, depended entirely on the whims of others.

"Lucius, what have you been doing behind my back? Did you make some kind of deal with local businesses and help them kill people?"

Pompey approached and roared loudly.

Having been a hegemon for so many years, Pompey was so experienced that even a few words were enough for him to deduce things.

Lucius had planned to assassinate Fagga in a car accident.

This single piece of information is enough to reveal quite a lot.

Pompey couldn't possibly have been unaware that as a city dweller, Fagga had no conflict of interest with the Triumphs, so Lucius, as the second-in-command, had no reason to assassinate Fagga.

But what if it's Lucius, who's a double agent?

In order to reach some kind of agreement with businesses in the city, Lucius had to help them get rid of some troubles.

This was the only reason Pompey could think of for Lucius to assassinate Fagga.

If that's the case, then it means Lucius has already made contact with businesses in the city. So, what was the source of Lucius's laughter just now...?

Pompey seemed to have thought of something, his face was completely stunned, his eyes trembled slightly, and he uncontrollably stepped backward.

But the sand beneath his feet was too warm to bear the desolation in his heart.

So, his feet sank into the sand pit, and the once mighty overlord finally resembled a frail old man. If he missed a step even slightly, he seemed to lose his soul and fall uncontrollably backward.

Snap!

Something suddenly slapped him on the back; it hurt, but at least he regained his balance.

"Don't let that jerk control your emotions, old man. Otherwise, you'll get so angry you'll faint when you see this contract later."

Ellen retracted the tail that had been supporting Pompey's stance. She had just been comforting Pompey, but as she slapped the contract into Pompey's hand, she inadvertently caught a glimpse of Lucius, and her expression suddenly turned as if she were looking at trash with disgust.

Her pretty face immediately darkened, and the candy in her mouth crunched loudly as she bit it. With a cold snort, she walked back the way she came.

As she passed behind Fagar, Ellen whispered, "I can hear the sound of a motorcycle coming from here. It should be Caludon. I'll go stop them."

"Oh, right."

Just as Eileen finished speaking and was about to leave, she suddenly stopped and said very seriously, "Remember to leave him a breath, because I'm going to come over and stomp on him later."

"Okay, sure."

Fagga nodded slightly, already pondering how to conduct a pleasurable torture.

but...

Faga glanced sideways, then turned to look at Pompey. Although he could roughly guess Pompey's decision, out of respect, Faga still had to ask:

"Mr. Pompey, Lucius's life now belongs to me, is that alright?"

Fajar narrowed his eyes, his gaze fixed intently on Pompey.

If he dared to show even the slightest reluctance, Fagga would have to reconsider how to view Pompey's biological health.

Upon hearing Fagga's question, Pompey, who had already roughly scanned the contracts in his hand, closed his eyes deeply and remained silent for a long time before finally saying, "Can I kill him with my own hands?"

“Okay, but Eileen and I want to watch him die.”

Fagga smiled slightly and accepted the offer.
