Chapter 255 Corrosive Flames (2/2)

Looking up, Bourne's whip kick came crashing down fiercely.

Fagga suffered a severe back injury and fell violently from the air, taking a long time to regain his balance.

"Your wings must hurt, after being stepped on so hard."

A voice drifted from above, and Fagga's pupils contracted as he looked in the direction of the sound.

Bourne flapped his wings and slowly glided down from the air, his tone as flat as a monotone reading, devoid of any emotion:

"Do you remember when we first met? I said back then that if I spread my wings, you wouldn't be a match for me."

"I remember, you used to call me Grandpa."

Faga grimaced in pain, but despite this, he still managed a slight upturn of his lips, subtly revealing a hint of mockery.

Seeing this, Byrne felt a lump in his throat. He covered his face with his hand so that Faga couldn't see his expression, and a hint of gritted teeth finally crept into his indifferent tone:

"That's just a temporary expedient. Temporary forbearance is not shameful... You know, only those who survive to the end are the winners."

"But you called me grandpa back then."

"Actually, according to the plan, we shouldn't have started fighting at this time. If you know what's good for you, you should take your girlfriend and escape to the outer ring now. The vampire clan won't cause trouble..."

“I refuse, you grandson.”

Hiss~ Whoosh~

Byrne closed his eyes and tried to take deep breaths to suppress his emotions.

When he opened his eyes again, his gaze had become clear, as if he were indifferent to the world: "Faga, there's no point in being quick-witted. It's just a small black dot in the ordinary past, there's no need to keep feeling guilty about it."

Fagga shrugged and held up two fingers: "Not once, but twice. Remember back in the [Dopegonya Hollow], you called me grandpa too."

"If it's a small black dot once, does that mean it'll be a small black dot twice?"

"No, if you call him 'Little Blackie' twice, he'll cling to you for life, for generations to come!"

"So, get out of here with your men like sparrows, you grandson!"

With his last words, Fagar's voice suddenly rose, stunning not only the vampires present but also Eileen and the others who were locked in fierce combat.

Eileen covered her head and sighed, wondering what position she should use to discipline her boyfriend tonight.

Yuzhen burst out laughing: "Whoosh, well done, buddy! These scoundrels who bully sick people deserve to be scolded!"

Sizzle~

It is the sound of reason snapping.

Byrne immediately roared, his usually expressionless face finally warming up: "You damn bastard, to hell with the plan, I'm going to teach you a lesson today, you'll see what humility is!"

"With this power, the vampire clan's undying legacy will endure!"

Bourne flew into a rage and shoved a palm at Fagga.

In an instant, the entire sky darkened, and the blood-red hand seemed like a chasm. In Fagga's ears, it was as if the lamentations and howls of the dead who had died from vampire fangs and the undead over thousands of years were still echoing.

"This is... the secret technique of the vampire clan?"

Fagga raised his head, his eyes fixed on the giant hand formed from clouds of blood, which pressed down on him with a stench.

Although he was a vampire by blood, it was a power he had never deeply explored.

but...

"So cool! I wonder how many Tennys it would cost to buy it!"

Fagga grinned, and suddenly spread his hands to the sides, gathering dark flames in his left hand and generating ether in his right.

"I've heard that Section Chief Hoshimi's power isn't pure ice, but a combination of ice and fire, called Frostbite, a power unique to the Void Hunter."

"If I completely fuse the ether and the dark flame, would that be equivalent to having the power of a Void Hunter?"

Fagar grinned, and just before the blood cloud pressed down, he clasped his hands together. The dark red Nether Flame and the purple Aether, driven by his vampire bloodline, gradually merged and quietly changed towards a purplish-red color.

Finally, the blood cloud pressed down, covering Fagga's entire body.

"Faga!"

Eileen stepped forward, and a power suddenly surged from her body, seemingly from nowhere. Despite the prospect of a long and fierce battle, she instantly killed the vampire who was blocking her view with a single strike, and stared blankly at the place where the blood cloud was suppressing the power.

However, in the next instant, a purplish-red beam of light suddenly shot straight into the sky, and the Blood Cloud Hand suddenly shattered into pieces. The red color slowly dissipated, and in the center, Fagga looked at the purplish-red ball of energy in his palm, which was as bright as flames and as illusory as it appeared.

"From now on, I will call you [Erosion Flame]."
