Chapter 3 Otherwise you might have to find another friend (2/2)

"You know how to use a knife, right?"

Without turning his head, Fagar stared intently at a large-headed skeleton not far away, its core glowing purple.

"Um."

Eileen instinctively took it and immediately recognized the three characters "Kunmu Tu" written on the hilt.

this...

Isn't this the handle of Fagana's umbrella?

Ellen glanced out of the corner of her eye and, sure enough, the parasol in Fagga's hand was shorter than expected.

Ha... It looks like an umbrella, but it's actually a flamethrower, and you can even hide a knife in the handle.

Should we tell Lycaen that I also really want a weapon that I can carry around and use to avoid being seen?

But despite her thoughts, Ellen's hands didn't stop moving at all. With a flick of her wrist, she severed one of Yi Hai's arms and kicked him away.

At this moment, not far away, Big Head Yihai finally finished charging up, and dozens of purple light spheres crashed down like cannonballs, with tremendous force.

Fagar narrowed his eyes, staggered, then glanced at the sun in the sky and said helplessly, "It's up to you. I'll cover for you."

"Tch, not yet."

Eileen scoffed, stepped forward, casually hoisted the long sword onto her shoulder, and pushed off with her toes.

Physical shark, charge!

While running, Ellen shattered the purple orb with one slash, then swung her sword again to deflect another purple orb, before bending over and dodging an attack from a skeleton.

The powerful tail lifted Ellen up again, and she kicked two skeletons away in mid-air with a split. The long sword pressed down, and suddenly a cold light flashed. Half of the thin skeleton's body disappeared.

Behind her, Fagar was also watching intently. He cunningly hid in Ellen's imposing presence, and while all the skeletons' attention was focused on Ellen, Fagar had already planned and adjusted the path of the flames.

By the time the skeletons reacted, flames separated them like an insurmountable chasm, the scorching heat preventing them from crossing even an inch.

It even greedily took from its surroundings, spreading out and burning the skeletons. They fell to the ground without even being able to scream, turning into countless specks of light that slowly flew upwards.

Like fireworks going against the current.

Fagar glanced over and saw Ellen stamping her little leather shoes as she looked around in the fire, her face glowing red in the firelight.

"Stop looking, the skeletons here have all been killed. Let's go find the rope craftsman."

Fagga opened the umbrella, still a little unaccustomed to it being half a length shorter, and had to raise his hand to shoulder level.

"Her name is Ruby, she has a name!"

Ailian looked left and right, and it seemed that there was no longer any Yihai alive, so she walked into the teaching building.

"Ruby, Ruby, where are you?"

Eileen walked ahead, calling out her friend's name.

Fagar was walking behind; Ellen had already returned the knife to him, and he was putting the hilt back in.

"Strange, why isn't Ruby answering me?"

Eileen was deeply puzzled and had no idea what to do.

There shouldn't be any Yi Hai in the teaching building, otherwise they would have screamed already.

Fagar finally put the umbrella handle back on and walked up to Ellen.

As soon as Fagar passed by, Ellen felt the sunlight blocked, and her pretty face was mostly obscured by shadow. She put her hands on her hips and asked, "Are you allergic to the sun? Why are you always carrying an umbrella?"

"It's not an allergy, I just don't like it."

Fagga replied calmly, using the footprints on the ground to determine the direction his classmates had gone, and walked along the corridor.

"Hurry up and go find your friend, or you might have to find the next friend."

Upon hearing this, Eileen's lips twitched, she rolled her eyes disdainfully, and quickly followed after him.
