Chapter 35 Did Fagga also have a secret side business? (2/2)

"Faga, what do you think of this talking Bomb? It's quite intelligent, not like artificial intelligence."

"Weren't the police officers in blue uniforms we encountered quite intelligent as well?"

Faga couldn't help but tease Ellen, then said, "But this Bomb is definitely not an artificial intelligence."

Fagar stepped forward, took Ies from Ellen's hands, and carefully placed it back on the ground, even patting its head.

Ies paused for a moment, then stared blankly up at him.

Hearing Fagga say, "When searching in the cave, you either need a rope maker or a [radish]. But that little cat is completely naked; it doesn't look like it's carrying a [radish] at all."

"So you are the [Radish]? No, the producer of the [Radish], Miss Ropemaker... or rather, Phaethon."

The cat, unconvinced, shouted loudly, "Hey, who's dressed naked, meow! Are you looking down on meow?"

However, no one paid any attention to her. Even Colleen was checking her green chainsaw to avoid causing trouble for Fagar and Ellen if a fight broke out later.

Eis instinctively took a step back, and a weak girl's voice escaped her lips: "You... you figured it out."

"Um."

Fagga nodded: "I haven't heard of any other rope maker who can mentally connect with Bomb, besides the famous Faetong."

"Hehe, it's really embarrassing to have someone say it to me."

Eis's green eyes curved into crescents, and he scratched the back of his head shyly with his little hands.

“It’s alright. Eileen, Colleen, and I are from Victoria Housekeeping. It’s okay if you haven’t heard of us. There’s just something I’d like to ask.”

Fagga crouched down, kneeling on one knee, trying to keep his line of sight parallel to Ies's height.

Victoria's Housekeeping Code of Conduct: Respect every unfamiliar guest.

"What is the meaning behind the famous Phaethon blocking Vision Industries' blasting train, causing it to still be circling the tracks?"

Ugh!

Clang, clang~

The train passed by again, and a gust of wind blew past.

Ies's ears flared wildly, but his body was firmly fixed in place by Fagia.

Regardless of the turbulent outside world, with leaflets and fallen leaves flying everywhere and road signs clattering, Ies remained firmly in place, protected by Fagga, without wavering in the slightest.

"It's safe now, the storm has passed."

Fagga released his hand and smiled slightly.

Eis paused for a moment, then responded with a round eye on the screen, "Oh."

[Fairy: Hint. Master, I just found out that Fagga also lived on Sixth Street a week ago. Logically, you two might know each other.]

"Oh, really? Fagga also has a secret side hustle?"

Bell turned to look at Fairy in surprise.

[Fairy: Master, I hope you will remember, when you express your surprise, that the Ies in the void is in sync with your actions]

Behavioral synchronization means...

Ling's brow twitched; she had a bad feeling.

Looking up, from Ies's perspective, Fagga's face was noticeably darker.

The Shark-like creature next to him, named Ellen, had a fierce glint in its eyes, and it was only thanks to Corinne that it didn't go berserk.

“Mr. Fagar, Miss Ropemaker may have misspoke; she probably meant no harm.”

After comforting Ellen, Colleen came over to soothe Fagga's emotions.

"Okay, I understand, Colleen."

Fagha shook his head, indicating that he understood.

Ies immediately patted his chest, feeling a sense of relief, and looked at Colleen with grateful eyes.

That's great, Miss Maid! I'll give you a free trip to the Hollow next time!

"Let me talk about the current situation."

Ling composed herself, remembering what Fagga wanted to ask.

“Yuanjing Industrial Group disregarded the lives of ordinary people! They deceived the public and did not evacuate the people at all. There are still people living in Fanbu Lane!”

"But Vision Industries is going to blow up Canvas Lane today!"
