Chapter 37 Gunfire and Bullets (2/2)

Confused, the group looked at each other and slowly bent down towards the floor.

It’s over!

The leader closed his eyes, unable to bear watching any longer.

Tsk tsk~~~

Bang!

With a loud bang, a large hole suddenly appeared in the roof of the car.

Fagar flapped its wings and descended from the sky, holding a rifle that it had seized from the fake sheriff in one hand.

Fire!

Thump thump thump thump~~~

A dazzling burst of fire erupted from the middle of the train, spitting out flames as bullets were fired. Every second, more than one person fell, and wails and screams filled the entire carriage!

The leader, who had already slumped under the seat, kept his eyes tightly shut in pain, not daring to utter a sound.

Half a minute passed...

Fagar glanced at the smoking gun barrel, then at the carriage littered with fallen soldiers, his eyes narrowing slightly. He picked up a pistol and slowly walked towards the front of the carriage, simultaneously reaching for his earpiece.

"Hey, Phaethon, this is Fagga."

"Ah, Fagga, you've already resolved things on your end? So fast!"

"Yeah, it's resolved... Why is it so noisy over there?"

"Oh, we just caught a short, stunted little guy!"

"Shorty?"

...

Somewhere in the hollow, Ies sat on a steel bar, swinging his short legs, and while talking to Fagga, he subconsciously turned his head to look at the short, stout man on the ground.

Fagga recognized this guy; he'd seen him on TV several times recently.

Charles Perlman, head of Vision Industries!

Having lived a life of luxury for many years, he was completely unaware that someone was lurking nearby, and even the guards noticed nothing.

He only saw the sky suddenly darken, and by the time he came to his senses, he was already tied up.

Bound by ropes, Perlman strained to lift his head, as if about to say something.

Suddenly, a girl with pink wavy hair next to him grabbed a suitcase and smashed it against his head, yelling, "Hand over the controller for the train's explosives!"

If Fagar were here, he would definitely recognize that this is Nicole, the boss of the Rabbit House.

A girl with a broad mind, but sometimes not so broad-minded.

It seems that not only Phaeth was in the dead end cave, but the Rabbit House was too.

"Hey, Nicole, go easy on him! If he passes out, all our work will have been for nothing!"

Perlman remained silent. Just as Nicole, enraged, was about to smash the suitcase down again, a tall robot immediately stepped in front of Nicole, using its sturdy mechanical body to block the attack for Perlman.

"Billy?"

Nicole paused for a moment, then her eyes showed a hint of heartache when she saw Billy had blocked the way. She immediately roared, "You could have just stopped me! Why did you block him?! Do you know how expensive your repair costs are?!"

"Ugh!!! Boss Nicole's gone berserk! Anbi, you need to think of something quick!"

Billy kept trying to block Nicole's punches, but this couldn't go on forever, so he quickly asked the white-haired girl in green armor for help.

Ambly glanced at her, but quickly looked away, speaking sparingly: "Billy provoked Nicole himself."

"Ugh!!! Is this something I caused myself? Anbi, aren't you being way too biased towards Nicole?"

"It was Billy's own fault."

"Ah! Help!"

"Hehehe~~~ Rabbit House seems a little different from what I imagined. How did they deal with the white guy?"

Cat looked at the two people bickering and the other person standing by, and couldn't help but smile awkwardly before sitting down next to Ies.

The thought that the white man who adopted her was killed by this group of guys made her feel terrible.

"Huh? Whitey, didn't Whitey fall into the void and get corroded into a skeleton?"

Ies scratched his head, while Ling, dozens of miles away, was also somewhat puzzled.

Could it be that I remembered it wrong?
