"The dead end cave has collapsed, what happened?"
The kitten never got her mackerel. While waiting, the secretary suddenly noticed something was wrong. Staring at the dead end, her pupils gradually contracted, and she trembled violently, her voice cracking as she spoke.
Is the shrinking of cavities a good thing?
Under normal circumstances, of course!
Who wouldn't be happy to suddenly have an extra piece of land?
Think of how many public welfare projects this could launch, and how many people and businesses it could support!
But for Vision Industries right now, they are really not happy.
"You...killed the Dead End Butcher!"
The female secretary gritted her teeth, practically squeezing out the words, her eyes bloodshot as she stared intently at the cat, not looking away for a moment.
Logically, killing around three thousand skeletons should have shrunk the rift to this extent. But to accomplish this in such a short time, it must have been the authorities who took action!
But if the authorities take action, how could Vision Industries not get the news?
Then there's only one possibility left: there's a team that sneaked into the cave without anyone noticing and killed the Dead Road Butcher on the very day that Vision Industries decided to blow up Canvas Alley!
They even sent someone out specifically to stall for time!
The secret of Canvas Alley has been discovered!
The female secretary's pupils dilated in shock, and this possibility immediately came to mind.
Suddenly, a Vision Industries employee dressed as a sheriff approached the female secretary and growled in a low voice, "Something terrible has happened! We've lost contact with our colleagues on the explosives train!"
"What did you say!"
The female secretary immediately turned around and grabbed the employee's collar. Her once beautiful face was now contorted with shock. The unimaginable reality crashed into her heart, and the pain made even her breathing feel hot.
"I can't get in touch with them. Do I have to repeat myself?!"
The employee also yelled at the female secretary frantically, his emotions on the verge of collapse: "We're about to be exposed, do you want me to say it in front of everyone?"
"Nothing came to light, nothing!"
The female secretary abruptly turned around, pointing at the sullenly retreating cat. She had sensed something was wrong earlier and was preparing to slip away quietly.
"Do I still have my mackerel, meow?"
The cat hunched over, its hind legs tucked behind it, ready to flee at any moment.
The female secretary didn't answer; instead, she shouted, "Fire!"
At her command, all the employees of Vision Industries, disguised as sheriffs, opened fire simultaneously. Hundreds of guns roared at the same time, flames licking the ground as they chased and tore at the cat!
"Meow meow meow! Even if you can't afford mackerel, your Perlman is in my hands. Aren't you afraid he'll die?"
The cat was chased by bullets, leaping and bounding about. It quickly pulled out the double blades stuck in its knees to defend itself, but it was still almost hit by bullets several times.
Forget it, I can't afford to mess with them, I'm outta here.
Anyway, the mission is already accomplished.
"Hmph, it doesn't matter if he dies!"
The female secretary beckoned and shouted, "Everyone, enter the dead end tunnel! Destination: Canvas Alley!"
Once the order was given, everyone grabbed their weapons and rushed toward Canvas Alley.
The female secretary wasn't idle either; she chopped off the heels of her high heels with both feet, disregarding her manners, and strode to catch up with the group.
"Wait, what are you going to do?"
The employee grabbed the female secretary's arm, his pupils beneath his mask filled with fear, and his voice trembled as he said, "Are you going to...?"
"What else can we do? Wait for the sheriff to come?!"
The female secretary flung his hand away and said angrily, "Besides destroying the evidence, tell me what else can we do now?"
After saying that, she glanced at Perlman, who was riddled with bullet holes beside her, turned and left, coldly tossing out a sentence: "Call an ambulance for this shorty, maybe he can be saved!"
The employee remained alone, silent.
After a while, he suddenly felt a white light shining on him, so bright it was almost blinding.
He instinctively reached out to stop them, slowly turning around, but before he could react, he was shoved to the ground and his hands were forcibly tied behind his back and handcuffed with silver handcuffs.
"You are under arrest, sir."
These were the last words he heard before getting into the police car.
