Chapter 5: The Crash Begins! (1/2)

"Are you all ready? The rising star of rope making in New Ellito is about to set off!"

Ruby sat in the driver's seat, pounding on the steering wheel and shouting "Wuhu!"

"Faga hasn't even boarded the bus yet, so why are we starting?"

Eileen, sitting in the seat behind the driver, rolled her eyes inadvertently and said helplessly, "Let me confirm one last time, Ruby. You really can drive a bus?"

In the previous operational meeting, Ruby had already planned a complete escape route. If she could overcome the difficulties, Ruby was 100% confident that she could break out of the hole.

But the problem lies in this "overcoming difficulties".

The apprentice rope maker's abilities were limited to this; she couldn't guarantee just how dangerous the journey would be.

Therefore, how many enemies one can shake off depends to some extent on how fast the bus driver is driving.

"Oh, relax!"

Ruby turned around and smiled, her kneeling posture on the seat was exceptionally cute, and she even playfully stuck out her tongue and gave herself a thumbs-up.

"Don't worry, there aren't many curves on the road. Anyone can step on the gas."

Eileen sighed, closing her eyes to rest: "I really hope you don't stall after three nods when starting and then stall again when shifting gears. Oh well..."

We're already on the pirate ship... oh no, on the pirate vehicle, there's absolutely no reason for us to get off.

Tap tap!

Hearing footsteps, Ruby looked in the direction of the sound and exclaimed with delight, "Faga, you're back! How are you?"

"fine."

Fagga strolled onto the bus, plopped down next to Elaine, and casually put down the parasol.

"The underground parking garage door is open, and all the Yi Hai lingering at the entrance have been dealt with. But there are still Yi Hai approaching nearby, so we need to set off as soon as possible."

"Also, don't put too much pressure on yourself. Just focus on driving, and leave the rest to me and Ellen."

"good!"

Ruby shrank back upon hearing this, her fluttering eyebrows unable to conceal her excitement, and her hands gripping the steering wheel trembling.

Suddenly, Ruby turned the key to start the engine, pressed the clutch, pulled the gear lever horizontally, and pushed it forward.

boom!

With a roar from the engine, the bus's tires relentlessly propelled it forward.

"Squad leader, stop daydreaming, the bus has started departing."

In the passenger seat of the SUV, a classmate quietly reminded the class monitor.

"I know."

The squad leader slowly opened his eyes, took a deep breath, and turned his head to look to the side.

On the other side, there was another van, and the student in the driver's seat also turned his head to look at him.

The squad leader gave a thumbs-up and grinned, "Hey, bro, keep it up!"

After saying that, the squad leader turned the key, and the steel beast weighing several tons roared into the sky. Once the Mercedes was up, it was unstoppable, leaving only a wisp of black smoke on the ground. The beast pounced into the distance!

A short while later, it rushed out of the underground parking garage along with the bus.

"Hey, how do you manage to start so fast? Aren't you supposed to start in first gear and shift up one gear at a time?"

The students inside the van let out a groan, but quickly caught up with it.

The convoy, carrying the hopes of more than thirty families, boldly strides towards the outside world.

The underground parking garage, the closest to the school gate, has become quiet and secluded.

Buzz!

Bang!

The bus, weighing tens of tons, crashed into a spatial rift and fell with a thud from half a meter above the ground.

As soon as it landed, it crushed and killed several skeletons.

Before Yi Hai could even react, he was swept under the bus and run over without a ripple.

The off-road vehicles and vans lined up on either side of the bus, moving side-by-side and overtaking it at a slower pace, slowly taking the lead and taking turns clearing the way for the bus.

The rest of the children on the playground were suddenly stunned. They stared blankly for a while before they reacted and chased after them.

The skeletons from all four directions reacted simultaneously, surging in like a tidal wave.

At that moment, Fagga opened the sunroof of the bus and climbed onto the roof, with the sunshade in his hand.

"Kunmutu, switch the 'jet' mode to 'sniper' mode."

Fagga murmured softly, covering his head with his coat to completely hide his hair.

Soon, the parasol in Fagga's hand began to change according to its master's command. Several metal pieces suddenly tore off the muzzle at the top, making it thinner and longer.

Soon, a lens was ejected from the umbrella handle, directly into Fagar's line of sight, and then... bang!

A bullet blazing with fire flew through the air. The squad leader, who was driving an off-road vehicle, raised an eyebrow and watched as an exceptionally large skeleton that had pounced on him was instantly reduced to ashes. In that instant, a huge weight was lifted from his heart.

The squad leader wiped the sweat from his forehead. Even though he had been feeling apprehensive when facing the mountain of Yi Hai earlier, he didn't care anymore.
