Chapter 55 A Real Man

"Well, we updated his logic core, but it seems like there's something wrong with it now."

Grace tapped two fingers together, a little embarrassed as she said this, then abruptly turned her attention to the grabber and shouted:

"Grabber, good boy. Your logic core may be malfunctioning. Come back with us for repairs!"

However, the grabber showed no sign of obeying and instead grabbed a large rock and hurled it at Grace with the throwing skills it had honed on construction sites.

A strong gust of wind swept in, and both Grace and Anton raised their hands to shield themselves from the wind pressure, but they couldn't see anything.

They slowly lowered their arms after hearing a loud bang. As soon as they looked up, they felt the wind pressure approaching. The large rock thrown by the grabber was cut in half and crashed into the ruins behind them, bypassing Grace and Anton.

"Tsk!"

Eileen, carrying the giant shears, stood at the very front of the group; it was she who had just cleaved the large rock in two.

At this moment, she tilted her head and glanced disdainfully at the object grabber.

"Damn it, what kind of look is that? How dare you look down on me? You were just a casual blow to take me down!"

Unable to conceal its contemptuous rage, the grabber continued to slam its massive bucket against the ground, roaring, "You're nothing but a tiny..."

"Um?"

Eileen squinted, and frost began to form on the giant scissors in her hand.

Upon seeing this, the grabber felt as if it were surrounded by malice from the deep sea, as if even its core logic had paused for a moment, and its previous arrogance came to an abrupt end.

But the silence did not last long; it turned its gaze toward Fagga again.

Yes, this man who carries an umbrella when he goes out and always has his adorable mascot, Bangbu, must be an easy target.

So, the grabber, which was originally pointing at Ellen, suddenly veered and veered towards Fagga, who was behind and to her side.

"Yes, I'm talking to you! What are you looking at? You're so pale, yet you go out with an umbrella like a woman, not at all like a proper man... Ugh!!!"

A long, white chain of flames shot out like a snake. The grabber felt its scalp tingle at the sight and quickly dodged before it could even finish speaking, narrowly avoiding the attack.

The surviving creature turned its body and glanced at the phosphorescent flames still burning, even on the dusty cement slab.

The grabber shrank back to the side, realizing that even its tough, muscular body would be burned to ashes by the flames.

Damn it, can't they even say anything harsh anymore?

The grabber looked left and right, and suddenly spotted its old employer in the crowd. It quickly put on a fearless act and loudly berated the company:

"Hey, you two! Don't talk to me like you're coaxing a child to take medicine. I'm a real man!"

Fagar ruffled Ies's hair and said calmly, "Does being a man mean you have to bully the weak and fear the strong?"

However, the grabber completely ignored Fagar, pretending not to see him, and only had Anton and Grace in its field of vision.

At this moment, Anton stepped forward, pointed at the grabber, and roared, "A real man? You think you can call yourself a man with your sneak attack skills?"

"Oh, you sound like you know a lot about this!"

Upon hearing this, the claw machine's eyes lit up, as if it shared a deep resonance with Anton, a sense of mutual appreciation.

"That makes things easier! Let's have a one-on-one duel like real men! Let's settle this once and for all!"

Caw! Caw! Caw!

"Okay! I'm going in!"

Anton broke the silence first, grabbing his electric drill and ready for a manly showdown with the grabber.

Upon seeing this, Grace immediately grabbed him and hurriedly said, "Are all of us here to fight it one-on-one?"

"But...but this is a duel between men!"

Anton was still somewhat unwilling, but he couldn't do anything about it because Grace was holding him back.

"Hey, I knew you insignificant humans had no idea what it meant to be a man! Humph! I'm leaving, and I'm not going back!"

The grabber suddenly leaped up, spinning 180 degrees in mid-air, its four thick legs pressing down, threatening to launch it away at any moment.

It roared, "I'm a real man, I would never do such a mundane and boring job, that's not my pursuit at all."

Having said that, the gripper, free from all its worries, began to exert force with all four limbs... Hey, it's exerting force with all four limbs!

Why can't I exert any force with my limbs?!

Boom!

Before the grabber could react, its body suddenly collapsed, and even its vision went black for a moment.

When it came to its senses, it immediately saw a pair of green eyes blinking and staring at it, and two soft, long ears swaying in the wind.

This is the babe that the man was holding earlier!

Eis was curiously examining it, its true intelligence pondering how this intelligent machine could possess such a high level of wisdom.

The grabber didn't care about any of that. Startled, it quickly looked around and, sure enough, spotted Fagar's trail not far away.

He was standing in front of me, holding an umbrella, looking completely calm and unconcerned that the grabber had a bucket and a claw that were extremely aggressive.

"I removed the back two legs too!"

Suddenly, a detached female voice rang out from behind the grabber, and Eileen, swaying her shark tail and carrying a giant pair of scissors, slowly walked over.

Like Fagga, she was completely unconcerned that the grabber was still aggressive.

No, I still care!

"Faga, how about we remove the bucket and claws? We're fine, but it wouldn't be good if we scared our master."

Hearing Ellen's words, Fagar looked up at Ies, who had turned back because someone called him, and nodded after a moment's thought:

"That makes sense."

As he spoke, Fagga took two steps forward, seemingly about to make a move.

Unexpectedly, before Fagar even started to grab anything, the grabbing machine backed down first.

This giant machine, which kept calling itself a man, swung its bucket and claws repeatedly, but it was afraid of getting too close to Fagar and being dismantled by Fagar. It even hesitated to beg for mercy.

"I surrender! I surrender! Please don't hit me!"
