Chapter 7 Calmness is a Sign of Adulthood (1/2)

Faga casually found a chair and sat down, ignoring Eileen, who was sitting next to him and dozing off, and asked, "How far are we from the cave exit?"

"Um... let me take a look..."

Ruby glanced down and replied, "There are still two spatial rifts to go. If we go at full speed without letting up, it will take about ten minutes."

"But why is Eileen like this? She was fine just a moment ago..."

As Ruby was speaking, her attention shifted to Ellen.

She had droopy eyelids as soon as she got in the car, and now Ruby waved her hand in front of her, but Eileen didn't react at all.

Before long, Ellen began to breathe softly.

dart out!

Eileen's head drooped, and she slid off the back of the chair, about to land on Fagga's shoulder.

But Fagga reacted extremely quickly, tapping her head with a finger before he landed.

The sleeping Ellen frowned, shifted uncomfortably, and twisted her neck, trying to find a more comfortable position.

"well."

To Ruby's astonishment, Fagga suddenly sighed for no apparent reason, squeezed Eileen's body across the aisle of the bus, and lifted her up, placing her inside.

He also took the neck brace from Ruby's driver's seat and gave it to Eileen as a pillow so that Eileen wouldn't bump her head against the car window.

As he worked, Fagga's eyes flickered slightly. After finishing, he slumped back in his seat and closed his eyes to rest: "This guy has a bad temper, and he's a Shark-like person. He wasted energy for no reason, so he fell asleep."

"Hmm, I know that."

As Eileen's friend, Ruby knew this perfectly well, and she also knew that this was why Eileen liked to eat candy.

But Ruby's expression quickly turned teasing. She secretly covered the corners of her upturned mouth with her small hand, her bright eyes narrowing mischievously as she glanced back and forth between Fagga and Ellen, tentatively asking:

"I just didn't expect Fagga to be so considerate. If it were me, I wouldn't have gone out of my way to find a pillow for Eileen. I would have just..."

Ruby spoke meaningfully, her gaze fixed on Faga's shoulder, but Faga was resting with his eyes closed and did not see her.

Therefore, Fagga responded, "I have worked as a tutor and have some understanding of all kinds of children, so taking care of them is a piece of cake."

"Uh...so you're treating Eileen like a child?"

"Yeah, getting so angry over something as trivial as morning grumpiness is just like a child."

"So, is Fagga an adult who never gets angry, no matter what?"

"Of course, age is an illusion; staying calm is the standard for adults."

Ruby was speechless and suddenly lost interest. She silently retreated to her driver's seat and was about to turn the key to start the engine.

However, out of the corner of her eye, she seemed to catch a glimpse of something, and immediately turned pale with fright, screaming, "Faga!!!"

Upon hearing the sound, Fagga was instantly jolted awake from his half-asleep state, his eyes, which he suddenly opened, still tinged with a faint crimson.

In less than a second, Fagga gripped the parasol beside him, glanced out the window, and almost cursed aloud after seeing the situation.

Then, he strode forward, yanked the still-shaken Ruby aside, and jumped out of the driver's side window. Fagga drew his sword against the afternoon sun.

Everyone on the bus held their breath and watched intently as Fagga slowly extended the blade with his left thumb; the cold glint of the blade sent chills down everyone's spines.

However, what no one saw was that Fagar slightly raised his head, his eyes turning bloodshot and almost black, staring intently at the three goblins that had appeared out of nowhere.

(Goblin: The one who coordinates with Flash Bro on the last floor of the Abyss without time limit)

Immediately, Fagga gritted his teeth, his face contorted in a ferocious expression, his eyes blazing with fury as he screamed out a few words through his gaping teeth.

"You sons of bitches, what are you? You think I'd kill you under the scorching sun?!"

After saying that, Fagga drew his blade, and the entire blade burst into flames. The brilliant white flames were reflected on the faces of everyone in the bus, and that proud figure was deeply etched into the hearts of each of them.

Bang!

Before anyone could react, Fagga shot out, his figure darting out like an arrow, and in just a moment he was already close to the three goblins.

"roar!"

One of the goblins reacted and roared, swinging its giant hammer to smash down. The sound of the hammer cutting through the air was enough to make it seem as heavy as a thousand pounds.
