Ruby stuck out her tongue cutely, then turned around with stars in her eyes and shook Eileen's hand: "So tomorrow's the weekend, let's go take the Zero Hollow qualification test!"
"Eileen, please, please!"
"Wait, wait. Stop shaking it... Fagga, is it alright to go tomorrow?"
Eileen, unable to resist Ruby's shaking, turned to look at Fagga.
Meanwhile, Fagga had already secretly finished the last multiple-choice question, his pen flying across the draft paper as he drew diagrams. He only replied when he heard a voice beside him, "Okay."
"Yay!"
Ruby skipped away, leaving Eileen alone in the classroom staring blankly at Fagga, and stammering, "You did it so fast?"
"Huh? What else? Hand in your paper early and go home early. If you don't want to make do with a meal at a restaurant, you'll have to fight Lina for the kitchen!"
As Fagga was speaking, he suddenly stopped writing, his eyes widened, and he murmured, "Didn't I forget to cook this morning?"
"So who made breakfast for Mr. Lekahn and little Colleen?"
Once he got to this point, Fagga's drawing speed noticeably increased. After finishing the drawing, he began to calculate, his pen tip being chased by his accelerated thoughts, making a rustling sound as it fell onto the paper.
"I can't wait for you," Fagar said urgently. "I have to go to the hospital to check on Mr. Lykan and the others."
Upon hearing this, Ellen raised an eyebrow. She knew that the nervousness in Fagga's words was genuine, so she began to wonder why he was so flustered.
Suddenly, she remembered that she had forcibly dragged Fagga out this morning, and no one was cooking.
Could it be...
Thinking of this, Eileen quickly pulled herself together and threw herself at her math test paper, not forgetting to retort to Fagga, "You have to finish the whole paper, while I only need to pass. Who's waiting for whom?"
"Tsk!"
In a classroom where only the sound of pens scratching echoed, a boy's soft clicking of his tongue drifted through the air.
Sure enough, an hour later, Ellen stopped writing before Fagga.
Although most of the exam paper was left blank, Ellen assured that all the answers were correct and that they added up to just enough to pass.
Immediately afterwards, she took out her phone and typed to contact Kelin.
[Colleen, are you alright?]
Not long after, Ke Lin replied.
"It's nothing, Miss Ellen. It's just...did Mr. Fagga cook today?" Miss Lina brought over a bowl of meat porridge and said Mr. Fagga made it. Mr. Lekahn drank it without a second thought and then went back into the operating room.
No, Fagga didn't cook today.
[Sure enough, I knew it! Miss Lina was squatting in the corner drawing circles.]
Uh... are you all alright?
I didn't eat, so I'm fine. It's just that Mr. Lekahn... he might have to stay in the hospital for another two days.
I'm glad you're alright.
[Yes, Miss Eileen and Mr. Fagga need to come back soon too. Colleen is being discharged today. Miss Lina said she's going to cook another feast to make up for it... Help me!!!]
"Ha~~ Finally finished, Eileen, what are you talking about?"
Fagar threw down his pen, rubbed his slightly sore wrist, and turned to look at Ellen.
But without saying a word, Eileen grabbed Fagga's wrist and ran.
"Hurry back! Lina's going to cook again?"
"What?"
Upon hearing this, Fagar was stunned for a moment. After realizing what was happening, he grabbed Eileen's wrist with his backhand and suddenly accelerated, rushing ahead of Eileen.
"Then why don't you run faster?!"
