Chapter 93 Nineveh...Can Talk? (1/2)

"If we slow down any further, even the vampires behind us will catch up!"

Eileen replied, squinting at the swarm of pink and white mosquitoes in front of her. She clenched her teeth, hesitated for a moment, and then shouted, "Ruby, take care of yourself!"

"Huh?"

Ruby paused, blinking her eyes, not understanding what Ellen meant.

But the next moment, she suddenly felt a tremendous force coming from her side, and with a mighty swing, she threw it into the air.

"Eh eh eh! Eileenrenrenrenrenren!!!!"

Ruby screamed, too afraid to even open her eyes.

But the buzzing of wings around them was clearly audible. It was obvious that many pinkish-white mosquitoes were very interested in the human who had suddenly darted into the sky, and they all swarmed around. Ruby was so frightened that she hugged Kunmutu and curled up into a ball, not daring to move at all.

"Shark Cyclone! Drink!"

But Ellen didn't let Ruby be afraid for long. Soon, a reassuring shout reached Ruby's ears, followed by a series of ice-exploding sounds.

Soon after, the buzzing of wings ceased, and the azure sky was empty.

It seems that for a long time, Ellen and her group will not be surrounded by pink and white mosquitoes.

Eileen looked up, reached up and scooped Ruby up onto her shoulder, then continued running forward.

Ruby's eyes were blurry, and she murmured, "Eileen, I think I had a dream. I turned into bait and was thrown into a school of sardines by sharks to bait the fish."

"...Oh, are the sardines delicious?"

Eileen asked casually.

"I'm the one who gets eaten!"

Ruby screamed loudly, staring resentfully at Eileen's profile, her eyes filled with grievance:

"After we get out of the cave, Ruby, you have to treat me to a big meal. I'm going to eat you into bankruptcy!"

Hearing this, Eileen chuckled and said, "Then you'll have plenty to eat."

Having said that, Eileen turned around, glanced at the crowd of people each doing their own thing, scanned them all, and then fixed her gaze on Ambi, saying:

"Hey, you little girl with white hair and green armor, don't mind bringing another person along, right?"

"I?"

Ambi thought for a moment, realizing there seemed to be no other white-haired girls around besides herself. She glanced at Ruby on Elaine's shoulder and then nodded slightly.

"Bringing people is fine, but... I don't think you're old enough to call me 'little girl'."

"Great, help me look after Ruby."

But Ellen ignored it, slowed down and waited for Ambi to catch up, picked up Ies and let Ruby hold him, and then had Ambi carry Ruby on her back and run forward.

Ruby tugged at Ambi's armor and quickly turned around to ask, "Eileen, where are you going?"

"Didn't I say I'd treat you to a big meal? I'll find a vampire to pay half the bill."

Eileen waved goodbye and ran towards the back of the group.

"According to the plot development of old movies, this is a very classic flag, I suggest you change it... never mind."

Ambi was about to remind Eileen, but Eileen had already run far away and couldn't hear her at all.

So, Ambition lowered her head and whispered, "Rope Craftsman, there shouldn't be any more skeletons ahead, right?"

I must say, Ruby brand bait is really effective; all the pink and white mosquitoes were wiped out by Ellen in one go!

But out of caution, Ambry still asked.

Upon hearing this, Ies blinked, while Ling, who was connected to him, frantically typed on the keyboard until her fingers were almost knotted, and exclaimed in surprise:

"They're gone! Even though they were just Nineveh's squires, their etheric activity was extremely high, scaring away all the other ethereal beings!"

"Now that all the pinkish-white mosquitoes are dead, the road ahead is clear. Unless Nineveh has other squires, there will be nothing else..."

Before Ies could finish speaking, rows of eerie vines sprang up from the ground, reaching a height of two meters!

"...to stop us."

Ies, stunned, finished speaking, and after a long pause, she finally reacted. She pinched her cheeks with her little hands, her eyes wide, and screamed, "What is this thing?!"

"It's the Killing Vine, another kind of servant of Nineveh!"

Klöf hurried and finally ran from the back of the line to the front, deftly drawing her pistol and dagger from her waist, and dashed to the very front of the line. Then she turned back and said:

"I'll clear the way now!"

The cat couldn't help but worry and quickly asked, "Are you alright?"

"When I first entered Void Zero, you probably hadn't even been inside a void before, little kitty!"

Without even turning her head, Klöf raised her hand and shot the Killing Vine's attack, then immediately jumped forward, thrusting a dagger into its body, and then slashed it in half horizontally, without any hesitation or fuss.

"Run faster, little kitty! Don't let the ones lagging behind catch up!"

Klöf greeted her and quickly went to deal with the next vine.

The cat shuddered again, trying to find a comfortable position for Nicole, and said loudly, "Okay, meow!"

...

Meanwhile, at the very end of the line.

Fagga and Billy had already dealt with all the pink and white mosquitoes, but Nineveh caught up with them again.

Not only that, but strange vines also appeared out of nowhere on the ground, leaving a crack with each slap, causing the asphalt road to crumble.
