Chapter 8 I Don't Have a Skin Allergy (1/2)

"roar!"

The engine roared hysterically, and the enormous rumble could be clearly heard even from the last seat of the bus.

Everyone in the bus was tense, staring intently at the scene in front of them without blinking.

As one skeleton after another pounced on them, they dragged the car under its chassis, causing the vehicle to bounce violently.

Or they might leap onto the windshield and be violently thrown out by the bus, causing the passengers inside to be thrown back and forth, so much so that they almost threw up their lunch!

Amidst the violent shaking, Ellen slowly awoke, instinctively touching her forehead and gasping for breath.

I don't know when, but a few more bumps appeared on her forehead, and her pretty face turned a bit bluish.

But being an experienced and strong individual, the non-fatal injury wouldn't affect Ellen herself. She gripped one hand and slapped it on the driver's seat, struggling to stand up. She then used her tail to wedge herself against the seat to stabilize herself.

Then, looking ahead, Ruby's profile was tense and anxious, as if her whole face was straining, and large beads of sweat streamed down her face like a waterfall.

She looked as if she had been pulled out of the water; her slender fingers were white from being soaked in sweat, yet had turned pink from exertion.

"Where are the people of Fagga?"

Ellen looked around but couldn't find Fagga.

Ruby, without turning her head, kept her eyes fixed ahead and said succinctly, "On the roof of the car!"

As if to prove Ruby's words, a bullet fell from the sky, leaving a trail of sparks, and hit the four-legged creature with a flower bud on its head.

Eileen's pupils contracted. She recognized this creature; it was called Arauen, and it could release etheric bullets using the flower buds on the top of the pupa's head.

Although it's a small monster, its threat level at this moment far exceeds that of most skeletons!

Because only it has the capability to blow out a tire from a distance!

Fortunately, Fagar recognized it and killed it with a single shot!

Clang!

Suddenly, a goblin appeared out of nowhere and crashed into the bus, causing it to skid to the left and leave the right side suspended in mid-air.

Everyone on the bus gasped and involuntarily leaned to the left.

Fortunately, the seat belts restrained them, keeping them in place. The bus was on the verge of overturning!

"Ruby, turn the steering wheel to the right!"

In the chaos, Ellen yelled at Ruby.

Ruby was no longer in the mood for that. Through her profile, Eileen could clearly see that Ruby's pretty face was deathly pale, and her hands were gripping the steering wheel tightly. She didn't dare to move at all, clearly terrified and her mind had gone blank!

"whispering sound!"

Eileen gasped in surprise, grabbed Ruby's shoulders with both hands, and slammed her hard against the back of the chair.

Ruby suddenly snapped out of her daze, looked up in surprise, and murmured blankly, "Eileen?"

But Ellen didn't have time to pay attention to her. She gritted her teeth and, as Fagar had praised her for "wiping one more tail than others when wiping a plate," she swiftly reached up, hooked the steering wheel, and pulled it hard to the right.

Buzz~ Hiss!!

The bus tires suddenly straightened and then veered to the right.

The engine roared like a beast, its eight cylinders surging back like a powerful heart, sparks flying and long plumes of black smoke billowing out!

boom!

The bus's right tire finally hit the ground!

Eileen gripped Ruby's hands tightly and pulled hard, causing the driver's seatbelt buckle to snap with a grating crack!

Ruby was pulled from the driver's seat by Eileen with a look of astonishment on her face and pressed into the back seat.

By the time she realized what was happening, Ellen had already gotten into the driver's seat and thoughtfully used her tail to fasten Ruby's seatbelt.

In her haste, Eileen accidentally turned on the high beams.

But that doesn't matter. As soon as Ellen got into the driver's seat, she slightly turned the steering wheel back to the center of the road and slammed on the gas!

boom!

The great white shark in the deep sea shot out a sharp glint in its eyes, and its powerful heart pounded loudly, instantly propelling its blood to spread throughout its body. The surging power dormant within it erupted at this moment, and it brutally tore at the ignorant insects.

Not enough! Still not enough!

Ruby will avoid the skeleton as much as possible for safety, and drive forward in an "S" shape.

Eileen had no such concerns. She floored the accelerator and went all out, smashing all the skeletons in front of her away!
