Chapter 15 Nekomata and Shiro

"Bai Mu, you eat too."

The cat finished another piece and followed Shiraki's example by picking up a piece of sushi and handing it over.

"Yeah, okay."

Bai Mu took the food and asked, "Nekomata, is Bai Lao okay?"

When Mao Ya heard Bai Mu asking about Bai Lao, he immediately became excited, "Bai Mu, Bai Mu, let me tell you, I took Bai Lao to the hospital yesterday."

"Then, I stayed with Bai Lao the whole night. After he regained consciousness, he apologized to me."

Bai Mu nodded, "And then."

"Whitey said he wanted to reform, and he fired a lot of bad guys from the Red Fang Gang! He also contacted a lot of his good friends who originally founded the Red Fang Gang on Canvas Street! He wants to revitalize the street!"

"The Red Fang Gang, we need to slowly change back to the way Nekomata likes us!"

The boss also smiled and handed over a plate of sushi. "Little girl, were you a member of the Red Fang Gang?"

The cat lowered its head again and nodded, "Yeah. It was once upon a time. A long, long time ago."

The boss smiled and continued making sushi. "Back in the day, the Red Fang Gang were all good kids. I was from Canvas Street myself. Those days are so nostalgic. The Red Fang Gang took in orphans, helped the neighbors, and offered help everywhere. They were incredibly enthusiastic."

"But later on, my family moved away. I heard that the Red Fang Gang also left Canvas Street. They said that more and more bad guys were gathering there."

Nekomata nodded, "Yeah, that's right. The Red Fang Gang before was really good, very good. The White Guy before was not a crying White Guy, he loved to laugh."

Bai Mu ate his sushi and asked curiously, "So, was Bai Lao blinded by profit in the end?"

The cat shook his head again, holding his face in his hands. "No, meow. Whitey told me he wanted to do bigger and better things, but I don't know when he started to completely embark on a path of no return."

"Hey, Baimu, do you want to go see Bai Lao later? He said he really wants to thank you."

Baimu nodded, he also wanted to go and take a look.

He looked at the boss and said, "Give me another one. It's delicious."

The boss smiled and handed over a new one. "Of course, this is freshly caught mackerel every morning, and it's made with our secret recipe passed down from generation to generation. It's delicious, isn't it?"

"By the way, little girl, you still have something to say to this young man."

"This guy is really handsome. I admit, he's a little bit more handsome than when I was in school, a little bit, a little bit."

When Mao You heard this, he froze, "Boss, what are you talking about? Mao You has nothing to say to Bai Mu."

As she spoke, she lowered her head and glanced at Bai Mu pretending not to care.

Shiraki looked at Nekomata, "What's going on?"

Nekomata hurriedly stuffed sushi into his mouth, "No, no meow! Nekomata has nothing to say to Shiraki. Sushi, sushi is so delicious. Shiraki, you eat it too."

The boss looked at the two of them with a smile, "Auntie, you are shy. This young man, the little girl wants to say..."

Just when the boss was about to tell Nekomata what he was thinking, a chubby hand reached out and grabbed his ear.

"You, don't interfere in other people's business. If the girl doesn't want to talk, don't ruin her life."

After the proprietress said this, the boss had no choice but to shut up and looked at Nekomata with a bit of apology.

Shiraki looked at Nekomata suspiciously, "I have a feeling you're hiding something."

"No, no, let's eat mackerel. Mackerel is delicious!"

"I like mackerel~"

"Boss, another plate!"

The cat ate in a hurry, completely forgetting the taste of the mackerel. His heart was beating so fast that it felt like it was about to fly.

Her face was as red as a monkey's butt, and she would steal glances at Bai Mu from time to time. Suddenly, she took a box from her side and handed it to Bai Mu.

"Bai Mu, give it to me!"

Bai Mu took the box in confusion, "What is it?"

The cat lowered its head shyly again: "Gift, meow."

Bai Mu opened the box and found a pure white sleeveless vest inside with a cat's paw print delicately embroidered on the left chest.

Nekomata: "Yesterday, you tore your vest to save me, and then Nekomata was going to compensate you with a new one, but I don't know if it will fit..."

She said it hesitantly, but what she was thinking in her heart was.

Hehe, of course it fits!

Yesterday, I went to sixteen stores before I finally bought a vest with a cat paw pattern on the chest.

And Nekomata has already memorized all of Shiraki's body shapes, meow!

Just accept my kindness and fall for me completely, meow~

Bai Mu picked up a long strand of hair from his vest and said, "Why is there your hair here?"

Hearing this, Nekomata looked away, "Well, maybe Nekomata fell up there accidentally."

I forgot when I rubbed my face on clothes this morning...

"Anyway, put it on quickly. It's not good to be shirtless like this all the time. You'll catch a cold easily."

Bai Mu nodded, then picked up the vest and put it on.

"It fits perfectly, thank you."

"You're welcome, meow!"

"Why is your face red? Is it hot?"

"It's okay, it's okay. Nekomata just thought the sushi was a little spicy."

The boss tilted his head and looked at Nekomata, and asked, "I didn't add any spicy sauce?"

Bai Mu ate three more plates, then stood up and said, "I'm full. Let's go and see Bai Lao."

Nekomata: "Hmm."

She paid the bill and took Bai Mu to a nearby hospital.

New Eridu Hospital.

At this moment, Bai Lao was lying peacefully in the ward, his heart pure.
