Chapter 22 Fairy

Shiraki walked into the shop with the safe. It was the first time he saw the operating equipment used by the rope maker.

This is a computer composed of multiple monitors, with lines of code jumping on them.

"Are these just empty data?"

Zhe nodded, "Yes, to be more precise, it's another form of [radish]."

"Oh, I shouldn't be using such technical terms with you. Anyway, let me put it simply. The [radish] is like a map in the void, guiding you out of the void."

"As ropemakers, we digitize the changes in the void, allowing us to detect changes at any time. This is more useful than carrots."

"A rope maker, to put it simply, is a profession that uses these data to complete commissions."

After he finished speaking, he looked at Bai Mu.

Bai Mu nodded, indicating that he understood.

He immediately asked, "Speaking of which, you two lost contact for a while. What happened?"

Zhe lowered his head apologetically. The rope maker's loss of contact was such negligence that it could be life-threatening if one was not careful.

"This is indeed a dereliction of duty on our part. We will waive the commission fee for you this time."

Zhe pointed to the sofa and motioned Bai Mu to sit down, "Please sit down."

Shiraki nodded and sat down with Nekomata, while Zhe sat across from them and pushed two cups of tea towards them.

"I wonder what you are doing here, Baimu?"

At this moment, the back door opened.

Nicole and Ling walked in side by side.

Nicole glanced at Ling and said, "What a strong guy."

Ling: "Yeah, yeah, you're not bad either."

Zhe looked over and said, "I feel like your style of painting has become a little strange."

Bai Mu picked up the teacup, took a sip and said, "Let's talk about things first."

"Well, this is a safe that both White Man and Cunning Rabbit House are fighting over, but White Man has given up on the commission. I brought it here as White Man asked and will hand it over to you for disposal."

As he spoke, he placed the small safe in his hand on the table and looked at the two of them.

Ling knocked on the safe curiously. "What could it be? Hey, it seems like the hacker who cut off our connection earlier wanted to know the safe's password."

"What else is there to say, ahem, 'This matter is too complex, those who understand will understand, and it's pointless to explain to those who don't understand, anyway, those who understand will understand'. That kind of weird talk."

Bai Mu held the teacup and said, "So, the reason for the loss of contact this time is also related to this safe, right?"

Ling and Zhe nodded.

“Yes, we were hacked.”

Bai Mu: "Nicole said that the combination of the safe is with you, open it and see what it is."

Ling nodded and fiddled with the handle on the front of the safe.

Soon, the safe was opened, and something that looked a bit like a data chip was placed safely on the cushion.

The cat looked at it curiously again, "What is this?"

Ling picked up the chip: "Anyway, if it's a data chip, there should be no problem plugging it into the computer."

"Not yet."

Zhe said cautiously, and took the chip from Ling's hand: "Ling."

Ling looked at Zhe, "What's wrong?"

Zhe took the chip and said carefully:

"This thing might contain some virus. We can't just try it on the host. Although we got rid of the hacker, we paid a heavy price for it. We can't be careless. Let's find a Bomb and try it first."

"Let me see, it has a universal interface, Bomb can use it."

Ling nodded. When it came to vigilance, her brother had always been much more cautious than she was.

She picked up a lazy bun from the ground.

Bomb tilted his head and looked at Ling, "Hmm? (What should I do?)"

Ling smirked and said, "I need you to make a small contribution."

Bomb saw Ling's naughty expression and knew that something bad was going to happen. "Hmm! (Brother Ling! Don't!)"

"Brother, hurry up."

Zhe nodded, and with quick eyes and hands, he inserted the chip into Bomb's reading slot.

Bombu stood at attention immediately, motionless on the ground, in a daze.

Several people were curious to see what changes would happen to Bombu.

Waited for a while.

Nothing happened...

Ling sat on the chair and raised her hand and said, "How about we upload our consciousness into this Bomb?"

Zhe nodded, "That's exactly what I meant."

The white wooden teacup was empty, so he picked up the teapot and poured himself another cup.

"The tea is good."

Hearing the compliment, Ling suddenly turned around and said, "Really? If you've finished drinking it, I'll make you more."

"There's still a lot of tea at home."

Zhe: "Let's get down to business."

Ling sat in front of the computer, "Okay, okay."

After that, she entered the code, uploaded her consciousness into the neural network, and connected to the Bomb.

The connection went exceptionally smoothly.

She controlled Bomb to look at the others. "I don't think there's anything special about them."

"Exactly, why are you guys spinning in circles~"

As he said this, he fell to the ground.

The bell in front of the computer also fell to the ground.

Bai Mu was pouring water when he suddenly swung his arm towards Ling. The teapot flew out with the force and then hit Ling's body, knocking her back onto the table. At the same time, the teapot bounced back in the collision and finally fell into his hands again.

After doing this, he continued to pour water as if nothing had happened.

Zhe saw this and was quite surprised: "Thank you."

"You're welcome."

After Zhe finished speaking, he quickly walked to Ling's side and reached out to cover Ling's forehead with his worried hand.
