Chapter 38 "How could you be drunk after drinking so little..."

Bai Gu lifted her up and sat her on the table, his heart filled with boundless joy.

It turns out that this fairy had lived in Fuling Mountain for several years.

At that time, he was a weak and vulnerable demon who was often bullied.

The demons on the mountain, taking advantage of their numbers, would dig up his bones and play with them.

With his frail and lonely body, he wouldn't live more than a few years before turning to ashes.

Unexpectedly, he ran into Zhu Bao'e. Hu was in a hurry to show off his power on Fuling Mountain, kill the evil demons, and save his life.

Bai Gu was grateful and followed her from a distance for several days.

Watch as she occasionally unleashes her fury, striking people with a rake; occasionally revealing her natural nature, plucking flowers as hairpins, breaking bamboo as swords, and using vines as a bed; and sometimes transforming into a demonic form, a rampaging pig demon, frolicking and rolling around in the barren mountains and muddy fields, grunting and squealing, thoroughly enjoying herself.

The longer he looked at her, the happier he became, wishing he could marry her and be her husband.

But before he could get close to her, she vanished without a trace.

After making many inquiries, he finally learned that she was going to marry the young master Mao Erlang from the Cloud Stack Cave.

This demon was not one to back down; determined to see things clearly with her own eyes, she hurriedly rushed to the Cloud Stack Cave.

He visited Bao'e three times before her marriage.

The first time, he didn't see Bao'e.

Inside the Cloud Stack Cave, the group of demons ate, drank, and played, thoroughly enjoying themselves.

The demon named Mao Er lay reclining on the tiger-skin bed, one hand supporting his chin and the other holding a cup of wine.

The man had a sinister face, white hair like frost and snow, and red eyes like the glow of the sunset.

He looked at Bai Gu from afar, a half-smile on his face, and asked, "Is the one sitting there not a demon from my Cloud Stack Cave? Where did you come from, and what brings you to me?"

Bai Gu replied, "There is a benefactor who saved me, but I cannot find him. I heard that he is here."

"who?"

Her name was Zhu Bao'e.

As soon as he finished speaking, the group of demons suddenly fell silent and all looked at him.

The look in his eyes wasn't exactly good or bad, but it was slightly unsettling.

“Zhu Bao’e…” Mao Er slowly sat up, casually crossed his legs, bowed slightly, and glanced at the little demons below him with a smile. “He’s all alone, a demon looking for a patron. Why are you all looking at him? Just drink your wine and don’t disturb our honored guest.”

The little demons then began to drink, but they were more reserved than before and not quite satisfied.

When the cave became slightly noisy again, Mao Er looked at Bai Gu.

"So it was to repay a debt of gratitude, huh? Fine, drink this wine and that will settle the matter." He tossed the wine cup away, and it landed right in Bai Gu's hand. "Drink this wine and then leave."

Wine spilled all over Bai Gu's sleeves. He was filled with resentment but could not vent it. He could only ask where Bao'e was and that he wanted to see her.

Mao Er poured himself another cup of wine, drinking it lazily, looking at the wine but not at him.

"I've been in a good mood lately, so don't say anything more. I'm telling you to leave now." He laughed as he dropped this threat and finished his drink.

The group of lesser demons also had good eyesight; they swarmed forward and drove Bai Gu away.

The second time, Bai Gu learned his lesson and instead of going through the main entrance, he went through a side entrance into the Cloud Stack Cave.

When he sneaked in, Bao'e was sleeping soundly in the haystack, sprawled out on her back, not yet awake.

He watched her silently for a moment, his joy growing even stronger. Just as he was about to step forward, Mao Er appeared again.

Mao Er went straight to the haystack and woke Bao'e, saying, "You didn't drink much wine, how come you're drunk?"

Bao'e mumbled, "I'm not drunk, I'm just tired from eating. I'll take a nap. What time is it? That little demon said it's going to snow, and I want to go out and play for a while."

Bai Gu watched from the side, feeling a pang of jealousy rising in his heart.

He was trying to figure out a way to trick Mao Er away, but Mao Er suddenly turned his head and glanced at Fang as if he didn't really notice.

Bai Gu hid in fear, but when he looked again, Mao Er had already grabbed Bao E and said, "Don't rush, it's still early. Let me taste what this wine tastes like first."

Bao'e laughed at him, "Brother, you're so cunning! There's so much wine in the pot, why don't you drink it yourself, but insist on tasting it from my lips?"

The two of them embraced, drank, and kissed.

Mao Er was originally a rabbit demon with a strong lustful heart, but he only ever had pleasure with Bao E, and he poured all his lust into her.

After kissing for only a short while, he carried Bao'e to the brocade tent, made her drape her legs over his arms, and the two of them pressed their chests together, panting heavily, unable to contain their excitement.

This time, no one knows how long it lasted, but Bai Gu listened to it all, until his bones ached and his muscles went numb, yet he still refused to leave.

A heart is like a broken porcelain bowl, shattered into pieces, leaving no trace.

If it were someone else, they might have suppressed their wicked thoughts, but this demon was one who refused to give up.

A few days later, he heard that Bao'e and Mao'er were going to get married. He thought to himself that the marriage was not yet settled, so it was not a matter of fate. Even if it did happen, the moon would have its phases. Now, their love was like a full moon, and who knows when it would wane.

Thinking about this, he made up his mind and went to Yunzhan Cave again.

The demon was poor in cultivation and ran into the fierce-tempered Mao Er. Seeing that he wouldn't listen to reason, she attacked him.

The two fought for dozens of rounds, and Bai Gu was almost killed before fleeing to Baihu Ridge.

Almost a year later, he heard that Mao Er had died, so he rushed to Yunzhan Cave.

The demon cave was now empty, and Bao'e was nowhere to be found; they searched everywhere but could not find her.

Helpless, he had no choice but to go back.

Now that they had finally met again, Bai Guyu was overcome with desire, yet she managed to hold back her emotions.

He didn't approach her, but continued to fiddle with her in front of her, panting as he teased, "Bao'e, look at it. It's already shedding tears after hearing just a few words from you. It's clear how happy it is."

Bao'e laughed and scolded him, "It's not that I'm happy, it's that I'm from the same family as you, you lewd and wicked devil, you're just as promiscuous."

He cursed the demon until her bones went weak and her muscles went numb, her eyes closed and her voice trembled, it was so satisfying.

Before long, he held down her legs and, as he had said before, licked or ate them.

Good Bao'e, her greedy heart has found a place to go, her eyes are downcast, only looking at his disheveled hair and loose hairpins.

This whole ordeal was so intense that it felt like a divine awakening, as if her spine had been sucked numb. She couldn't find the words to curse him anymore and could only moan and pant.

Bai Gu swallowed the food in his mouth, rinsed his mouth with tea, and then embraced her and kissed her.

Just as the two were enjoying themselves, they suddenly heard a commotion and shouting outside.

Bao'e recognized Sanzang's voice, hurriedly pushed him away, wiped her mouth, and stared blankly at the air, saying, "Master, I didn't do anything. This tailor was measuring my clothes, and I saw that he was a little dusty, so I helped him clean up. I got a little too close, but I didn't eat anything."

The demon said, "Your master is not here."

"That bald rascal! Why is he making such a loud noise? He almost scared me to death." Bao'e straightened her clothes and wiped her sweat. She said to Bai Gu, "Brother, I'm not coming anymore. I'm a bit frightened. I'll go and take a look at that monk. I don't want him to be cursed to death. Even if he's cursed to death, this Taoist temple will be flooded with his tears later. When the master comes back, it will be difficult to explain."

Bai Gu wanted her to stay, but she refused, so he had to let her go.

Bao'e went straight to the noisy place and saw the two little fairies, Qingfeng and Mingyue, pointing at Sanzang and cursing him with insults like "Bald" and "Thief."

The harsh words left Sanzang speechless and unable to get a word in edgewise.

Bao'e stepped forward: "Master, what did you steal from them? Quickly hand it over, so they can stop cursing. It's making too much noise and I can't sleep at night."

"You blockhead, how could a monk dare to steal? I ask you, these two celestial children say that someone stole their ginseng fruit, but did you do it?"

Bao'e didn't hide anything and said truthfully, "I wanted to steal it, but I couldn't find it."

"Look, look! You've got thieving intentions, and you still say you didn't do it?" Mingyue scolded. "It was you, it was you! You came into the temple and asked me for ginseng fruit. When I didn't give it to you, you secretly became a thief!"

Bao'e, not daring to listen to this, jumped up and down in anger, saying, "You liar! I don't even know what that ginseng fruit looks like. Where did you steal it from? Did you eat it yourselves and chew it up, and now you're afraid your master will scold you, so you're making me take the blame?"

The two little fairies cursed even more fiercely, causing sorrow to the ever-compassionate Tang Sanzang and anger to the innocent Zhu Bao'e who suffered the consequences.

At this moment, Sha Wujing and Wukong arrived and were also scolded harshly.

Unable to bear the scolding, and knowing the temperaments of his disciples, Sanzang advised them to tell the truth: if they had stolen, they should admit it; if they hadn't, they should help the two little immortals find the thief.

The pilgrim gritted his teeth in anger and said, “Master, how dare these two young Taoist boys talk such nonsense? I, Old Sun, went to check the fruit tree, and it was completely empty, without a single fruit in sight. How could anything have been stolen?”

Sanzang then asked the boy, "Is it really true?"

To everyone's surprise, the two little fairies refused to admit it, insisting that they had stolen the ginseng fruit and demanding compensation.

The traveler had never done such a thing before, so how could he bear it?

He drew his iron rod, intending to kill the two little immortals with one blow, but feared that Sanzang would blame him.

Finally, he took out two sleep bugs and quietly flicked them at the two young boys.

Just as Qingfeng and Mingyue were getting into their rant, they suddenly felt sleepy, and the two of them swayed and fell asleep.

Sanzang was so scolded that he almost burst into tears, when suddenly he saw the two of them fall down.

He fought back tears and asked, "My disciples, why did they both fall down?"

As the saying goes, it's unpleasant to be scolded by one person, but it's fun to be scolded by several people at the same time. Bao'e's anger subsided, and she stared blankly at the two of them, replying, "Master, they've managed to lull themselves to sleep."

Sanzang said, "Nonsense, how could someone with such a violent temper fall asleep in the blink of an eye?"

The pilgrim was finally relieved and laughed, “Master, what Wu Miao said is true or not. These two children are indeed asleep, but not because they are tired. Rather, they know they have insulted the wrong person and are ashamed, so they pretend to close their eyes and rest. There’s no need to say anything more. Let them sleep. It’s late and quiet, so we can go now.”

Sanzang was skeptical, but there was nothing he could do.

The group of four, along with their horse and five mouths, hurriedly packed their luggage, preparing to head west that very night.

As Bao'e was packing her luggage, Bai Gu suddenly appeared and asked her, "Bao'e, are you really leaving?"

She didn't even look up at him, only saying, "That's right, brother, stop thinking about it. I'll come find you again after we get the scriptures. That little fairy is so unreasonable. If he continues to talk nonsense when his master returns, wouldn't he be falsely accusing a good person like me?"

Bai Gu grabbed her, but said, "The journey west is fraught with hardship. How can you endure these countless trials? Why don't I create a fake body and suffer in your place?"

Just then, he made a hand gesture and indeed conjured up a fake body that looked exactly like her.

Bao'e stood in front of the mannequin, stunned, and said, "Who put a mirror here?"

Just as Bai Gu was about to speak, the traveler burst in from outside.

He tried to pull Bao'e away, but she suddenly became dazed and stood there blankly, like a mountain that he couldn't budge.

Helpless, he had no choice but to flee, leaving behind Bao'e and the fake body.

The pilgrim burst through the door, his eyes sharp and discerning. He recognized the imposter Bao'e as a demon in disguise, and without a word, he struck her with his staff, turning her into a bloody pulp.

Startled, Zhen Bao'e jumped back and asked him, "Brother, I didn't hurt you, why are you hitting me!"

The traveler chuckled and said, "Fool, stop your nonsense! That was a demon in disguise. Why would I hit you? Hurry up and go, or we'll be late."

As soon as he finished speaking, he grabbed her and rushed her outside.
