Sword Cultivator Travels Through the Apocalypse

Sword Cultivator Travels Through the Apocalypse

I had a dream.

There were zombies in the dream, and an organization doing experiments, just like Resident Evil.

My classmates and I were recruited by the organization, which sent us to some places, saying that we were going to rescue survivors.

But the first time, we lost a lot of people and only rescued a few people.

I have a sword that can cut through iron like mud, and I am a sword cultivator who traveled from the world of immortal cultivation (?)

The second place is a two-story residential building in an urban village. The first floor is used as a shop and the second floor is a residence.

When we arrived, I felt something was wrong. The store was blocked from the inside by someone taking things. Either the person inside was still alive and didn't want the things to come in, or the person inside didn't want to leave.

We were not sure if there were any living people inside, and the squad leader kept shouting but no one responded. I suggested we take a look from another place first, maybe climb a nearby tree.

But the boys led by the squad leader had already started cleaning up the things inside and cleared out an aisle. My intuition that I was in danger became clearer and clearer, until I saw human figures, a lot of people, wandering inside. To be precise, they were zombies.

More than a dozen zombies rushed out. The boy in front couldn't kill them with a steel stick, so he was bitten and his defense line was breached.

I brought my friend? (Hey, anyway, that classic friend, let's call him Mo Yi) We killed monsters in the back. It was too noisy, and zombies appeared on the second floor. It was too chaotic, there were so many zombies, I felt that the number was wrong.

The organization that brought us here was watching our performance from a distance. I fought my way out with Mo Yi and arrived in front of the organization, shouting: "What are you doing? Save us!"

The organization then took action to rescue people.

After finally finishing the killing, I saw that our class, which originally had over 40 people, was now down to only a dozen or so. I thought this couldn't go on, but the organization gave us a third spot.

I couldn't get over everyone, and I had to save people, so I went again. This time was different. The organization divided us into several teams, each with four or five people.

I grabbed Mo Yi and asked him to follow me. I saw something black, like a leech, on the neck of the man in the team ahead of me.

The thing squirmed very fast and crawled to the top of his head, but he couldn't find it. He seemed a little itchy and scratched the place, but didn't scratch anything.

My heart sank.

Our group was at the back, and I saw the group in front, led by the guy with the leech, rushing in recklessly.

Then our group was taken forward by the truck and dropped off in a small alley. We found that we were not given any weapons, but my sword was not taken away.

Mo Yi and I got out of the car and looked for weapons, but there were none, not even a branch! Suspecting the place had been cleared, I unsheathed my sword and let Mo Yi use it to fight the zombies first. He followed me.

Luckily, I survived this time. I told the team leader about the leech-like thing I'd seen. He touched the exact same spot on his head, his face grim as thought struck him. It looked like he, too, had been implanted.

The last place in the dream was our school.

The rest of us were divided into two groups. One group went in first, but didn't come out after more than a day, so we, the second group, were sent in.

After entering, I found that the group of people who entered earlier seemed to be possessed by something. They were playing their own games in the open space. Some were dancing, some were singing, and some were sitting on the ground playing cards or something.

But everyone's face was gray and pale, they were all dead, turned into zombies. When they saw a living person coming in, they stopped what they were doing and wanted to come up and bite us.

I continued to kill each kid with my sword until I saw a different zombie. She was my old friend. She made movements as if to bite me, but a human voice came out of her mouth, calling my name.

I froze for a moment, almost letting her succeed. I thrust my sword through her throat, about to chop her head off, but she cried out in pain.

I don’t know what thoughts flashed through my mind, like they weren’t actually dead, the virus just took control of their bodies, like they could still be saved.

Hesitantly, I removed her legs and arms. She lay on the ground, still staring at me stubbornly. Suddenly, I felt sad. I still cut off her head, because I saw corpse spots on her body. She was truly dead.

After that, I killed a lot of zombies and soon cleared out most of them.

Just as we were about to call it a day, an accident occurred. A stray bullet hit the school, and the blast caused by the explosion blew us all away.

Before the explosion, Mo Yi held me tightly with his scabbard, and I didn't dare let the sword slip out of my hand. Perhaps it was Mo Yi's protection that kept me from fainting, and I still had my sword in my hand.

When I opened my eyes, a huge bloated monster made up of many limbs appeared in the smoke and dust.

I know this is all part of the organization's conspiracy. They recruited us to conduct their own experiments, using humans and zombies to create killing machines. And that leech-like thing is the key to their control over humans and monsters.

I was so angry that I took my sword and felt that I could use the sword technique (I couldn't use it before and could only chop like an ordinary person)

I formed a seal and drew my sword. Thousands of sword lights rose from the ground, converging behind me and pointing forward at my will. Countless streams of light swooped down on the monster's head. One sword, thousands of swords, a thousand cuts.

After killing the monster, I was exhausted and Mo Yi caught me before I fell to the ground. I told Mo Yi to run, but it was too late. The organization had already come in to arrest me.

We hid for a while, recovered some health, and then I grabbed the sword again, this time to kill someone.

At this time, I could see something quite mysterious, something that seemed to be souls. I saw that these people's souls were dark, like zombies, dead. So I didn't feel any burden when I killed them.

Later in the killing, I don’t know if it was an illusion or what, time went back to the beginning of everything. The group that organized the organization came to our school and distributed their latest researched potion, which was the source of the zombies.

At that time, I was still one of the students standing there, quite interested in the potion. But this time, I drew my sword, rushed to the podium, ended the life of the group member, and destroyed all the potions.

This is definitely only a temporary solution and not a fundamental solution. I took advantage of the fact that no one could react and ran away with my sword in hand.

I will go to the group's branch here and kill them one by one. I will not let the headquarters go either.

Then, I was woken up by my mother, over.
