"Dad, I'm not kidding! You must remember this! I'll prove it now!"
Ji Chuan pulled Ji Mingzhou towards the card table. Ji Chuan remembered that he and his father went to the familiar Texas Hold'em table to play a few rounds with the two casino rookies.
As time went by, he couldn't remember what cards were dealt in every game, but he could remember their positions.
A middle-aged man left after losing all his money, and the new customer who replaced the middle-aged man kept winning. Ji Chuan was deeply impressed and thought that it would be great if he and his father were in that position.
He went to the nearest card table according to his memory. He saw the middle-aged man with a sad face. His forehead was covered with sweat and his thick fingers were unbuttoning his shirt, making people feel that he was sweating just because of the heat.
Ji Chuan pulled his father to walk behind the middle-aged man and whispered to Ji Mingzhou, "He will leave after losing everything. We will take his place and win all night in that position."
Ji Mingzhou just wanted to have fun with his son. He didn't plan to gamble much, so he just followed Ji Chuan's wishes.
Just as Ji Chuan said, this middle-aged man kept losing, his back was already wet, and he left in a daze after losing his last chip.
Ji Chuan quickly pulled Ji Mingzhou forward from behind and took the man's place.
When Ji Chuan looked around the table, he couldn't help but widen his eyes because he found that the dealer at the table was Song Ci.
He had never noticed it before and was not impressed by the dealer.
Why did I meet Song Ci in the sect? Can anything be changed now?
Ji Chuan looked at Song Ci's younger face. Was he just young? When they were at the base, Ji Chuan thought Song Ci was only 17 or 18 years old.
But he was able to be a dealer three years ago, so he should be at least 21 years old now, and the boy in front of him did not look that old.
Song Ci seemed very skilled in dealing the cards, but Ji Chuan did not even look at the cards.
“Raise.”
Ji Mingzhou looked at Ji Chuan in surprise and whispered, "Chuan Chuan, this is not how you play. You haven't even looked at the cards yet?"
Ji Chuan held down his cards and said, "Raise," in a voice that everyone present could hear clearly.
Ji Mingzhou did not intervene anymore. He just let his son have fun and watched from behind.
The other guests raised their eyebrows, as if they thought they had encountered a newbie.
Song Ci glanced at Ji Chuan without saying anything. He didn't want to interfere with the guest's decision, especially since he would definitely win.
"and!"
The other guests who saw his cards were eager to beat the rookie.
After Ji Chuan opened the cards, he didn't look at the cards, but looked into Song Ci's eyes.
The guest's eyes widened when he realized that Ji Chuan had indeed won.
"This little rookie is really lucky. Come again, come again!"
“Raise.”
In the second round, Ji Chuan still didn't look at the cards.
"Hey, follow!"
After the cards were opened, Ji Chuan still won.
"Son, you really have a third eye? You can win without even looking at the cards?"
Ji Mingzhou couldn't believe it. Could it be that what his son said about seeing the future wasn't a chuunibyou?
“Raise.”
Song Ci had already begun to frown slightly.
"I just don't believe it! Follow!"
After the cards were opened, people around began to sigh, "Is this guy the God of Gamblers? He won three times in a row without even looking at the cards."
"It's the newbie benefit period. I'm so lucky..."
In the fourth round, Ji Chuan still didn't look at the cards.
“Raise.”
"and."
A man who had never spoken stood up. Ji Chuan felt a little strange, as if this person had never appeared before.
After the cards were opened, Ji Chuan found that he had lost.
"My son is fine. He has won three times in a row. He is very lucky."
Ji Mingzhou thought it was normal, but Ji Chuan felt confused.
He looked at the cards in his hand, met Song Ci's gaze, and mouthed the words "you cheated".
Song Ci's eyes flashed with panic, and he glanced at the man who had just called the bet.
A beautiful croupier came over and took Song Ci's place.
"Dad, you play by yourself first, I'll go over there and take a look."
Ji Mingzhou just thought that the boy was embarrassed because he lost and wanted to escape from here. After all, he was still so young. "If you don't have enough chips, tell Dad."
Ji Chuan quickly caught up with Song Ci, who kept a distance from him vigilantly.
When they reached the corridor, Song Ci gave him a look, motioning him to go into the lounge to talk.
"What do you want?"
Song Ci's eyes were full of vigilance. He could tell that the cheater must be an expert among experts. Maybe the other party had evidence in his hands, which would be fatal to the reputation of the casino.
"How did you become a dealer? You're 21?"
What's with his tone? It's as if he's very familiar with me. Could he be a cop, here to check for violations?
"Who are you?"
Song Ci was already a little scared and was wondering whether he should ask for help from the casino security. Not knowing if there were any other people from the other party inside, Song Ci did not dare to act rashly.
"My name is Ji Chuan. I have no ill intentions. I just want to get to know you."
It's a bit suspicious. Could it be that the other party just has a good impression of me?
The opponent doesn't look like he's crooked. Is it possible that my radar for the same kind has failed?
Ji Chuan realized that it would be difficult to gain the other party's trust on impulse. He knew too little about the members of the stronghold and felt a little guilty unconsciously.
All he knew was about the future, and he had no idea about Song Ci's past. How should he get him to let down his guard now?
All I know is that he and Xia Yiqing have a close relationship, but does Song Ci know Xia Yiqing now?
A formally dressed man walked into the room and slapped Song Ci without saying a word. Song Ci's face swelled up instantly.
He gave Ji Chuan a flattering smile. In just a moment, they had found out through surveillance that Ji Chuan and Ji Mingzhou were together. As Ji Mingzhou was a well-known domestic investor, the casino did not want to offend him and make a big deal out of it.
