When Su Wanwan woke up, everything around her was quiet and dim.
She rubbed her eyes, but her mouth opened unconsciously. When she saw the surrounding environment clearly, "Where am I? What are these?"
Densely packed whirlpools stand upright in this space, but their sizes are different, some are rotating while others are still, and there seem to be some differences in color as well.
It’s just that the vortex in this space was too dense, and Su Wanwan was still in shock and confusion, so she didn’t observe it too carefully.
She ran quickly in this space, but it felt like there was no end.
Where am I? Am I safe?
What exactly are these vortices?
Her eyes fell on the vortex door closest to her and she tried to walk in.
Su Wanwan looked around curiously. This seemed to be a medieval Western town, and the people around her were dressed very retro.
"John? Why do you look so bad?"
The woman next to her looked at her with concern. John? Su Wanwan looked down and saw a pair of rough hands and a flat chest.
"How did I become a man?!"
Su Wanwan touched her cheeks and body in panic. The woman next to her was very anxious. She put her hand on her husband's forehead.
"It's hot! John, you have a fever!"
My husband was talking nonsense. It turned out he had a fever. It seemed he had been working too hard recently.
She supported her husband and walked home.
Although Su Wanwan was very resistant, she had already felt the weakness coming from her body and her consciousness was a little fuzzy.
She followed the woman back to her simple home, lay on the not-so-soft bed, and felt the torture brought by the illness.
What are those vortices? Where am I?
Did I travel through time and space and become a seriously ill person? My head hurts so much, what disease do I have...
The woman was very anxious as she watched her husband fall into a coma. His condition seemed to be deteriorating rapidly. She couldn't even ask him to get up and drink water. His body had already started to twitch.
The woman ran to the stone statue in the square in panic, knelt down, clasped her hands together and prayed sincerely.
"Lord God of Faith, please save my husband. He has fallen into a coma and his condition is very serious..."
Su Wanwan felt that her body was out of control and she stood up in a twisted posture. She was very hungry at the moment. She stumbled around looking for food, but had no appetite when she saw the fruits and bread on the table.
She opened the door and walked out.
"John, you're back. What happened to your wife who ran to the square in a panic?"
The neighbor lady looked at John with concern. He seemed to be in a strange state and his face was a little blue.
"John? What's wrong with you?"
Su Wanwan instinctively wanted to walk towards the woman, but her body seemed to be unable to obey.
Seeing John almost falling, the woman hurried over to help him up. "If you are sick, take a good rest. I will help you find your wife later. Don't go out."
Su Wanwan smelled the scent of the people around her. Why did she smell so sweet? She looked much more appetizing than bread and fruit.
I’m so hungry, so hungry, so hungry!
Su Wanwan grabbed the arm that was supporting her, and under the woman's puzzled gaze, she took a big bite of it.
"Ah! Help!"
The intense pain made the woman feel frightened, but she found that John was very strong and she couldn't break free at all. John was biting her flesh like a beast, and she could already see the white bones of her arms.
"Oh, it's crazy! It's crazy!"
"Run! Someone is biting people!"
The people around discovered this horrific scene and fled screaming, leaving the desperate woman shouting for help.
Ji Chuan rushed over and frowned.
"John, what are you doing! John, wake up!"
The woman shouted to her husband anxiously. Su Wanwan, attracted by the voice, looked over here, but was shocked to find Ji Chuan floating in the air!
But at this moment, Ji Chuan seemed to have returned to his teenage years.
"Stay away from him, he's risking his life!"
Ji Chuan shouted at the woman who wanted to get closer and tied her legs with a pile of earth.
The bitten aunt's eyes rolled back and she stood up twitching continuously.
But after Ji Chuan's burning, the two zombies turned into ashes.
Su Wanwan returned to the vortex gate panting heavily. What was that just now? Was that boy Ji Chuan? Why didn't he die?
What is that world? Is it a remote town in the West?
The door in front of her stopped rotating. Su Wanwan wanted to go in to confirm, but found that she couldn't get in.
She quickly ran to another vortex door next to her, and when she opened her eyes, it seemed that she was still in the same city, with the same medieval-style buildings.
Just like before, I also felt discomfort in my body, fever, confusion, hunger, and the desire to eat people...
The people around were already starting to get agitated. Seeing that her abnormal condition was beginning to move away, Su Wanwan chased after the target closest to her, but was still burned to ashes.
This happened several times, and he was either killed by Ji Chuan or his head was chopped off by the armored army.
Su Wanwan's eyes trembled a little, and she collapsed on the ground, not understanding what was going on.
Did he escape successfully? Was this strange vortex in this space meant to make him experience death over and over again?
And she discovered that dying as someone else in the vortex would not make her stronger.
Is this hell? She raised the gun to her temple.
"Bang--"
When she woke up, she let out a roar of despair!
