Chapter 339: Tsundere 3

He was truly cold-hearted. Ming Ye's icy eyes kept wandering over her porcelain-white face. After finding no clues, he shook his sleeves heavily and walked out the door. The wind was so fierce that it scratched her skin painfully. However, she still straightened her back without being humble or arrogant. Her eyes were still surprisingly quiet. She only glanced at his back with the corner of her eyes. After he turned around, her disguise was finally removed and she breathed a sigh of relief.

But then he heard Ming Ye outside the door shouting, "Li Zang, find me three women from the zombie world and send them to the room!"

As if it was intentional for her to hear, Jiuxi also followed him out. When he saw the frightened look in Mingye's eyes, Jiuxi coldly instructed Li Zang, "Li Zang, your Lord likes women with good figures and charming looks. Don't send the old sow from next door in."

As soon as she finished speaking, she saw his face, which was as black as the bottom of a pot. He smiled indifferently, and his eyes were filled with intoxicating warmth and light. For a moment, Mingye was dazzled. After seeing her heartlessly close the door, Mingye lowered his eyes and roared at the door frame without any image, "Jiuxi, you are so cruel!"

Li Zang tugged at Mingye's robe and said with concern, "Your Majesty, I'm not saying anything bad about you, but you've come back so tired and exhausted, at least wash your face. Look at you, you look like a bloody person. If I were a woman, I wouldn't like you either."

Even Li Zang despised him. Ming Ye's eyes darkened and he asked, "Is that really the case?"

Li Zang nodded and said, "Your Majesty, you should go change your clothes. Although it's cool to be covered in blood, girls like to be clean."

Ming Ye thought for a while, nodded slightly, and walked towards the river in the zombie world with big strides.

Hearing no movement outside the door, Jiuxi put the book back on the bookshelf, then took off her outer robe and climbed onto the bed. She tossed and turned but couldn't fall asleep. She was used to leaving a light on after going to bed, fearing that if something unexpected happened, she would have a chance to avoid an attack.

The door was slowly pushed open, and a cool breeze blew in. The warm yellow color also went out, and the room was pitch black. Jiuxi suddenly felt a chill on her back. Just as she was about to turn over to take a look, she was hugged from behind. The person had the refreshing smell of spring water on him. Jiuxi's body stiffened slightly, but she still forced herself to close her eyes and pretended to be asleep.

Ming Ye slowly took off her robe, looking at the wound on her shoulder, which seemed to have cracked again. Bits of pain gradually filled his pupils. He turned over and got out of bed, took the medicine bottle, carefully sprinkled the powder on her wound, and bandaged it with gauze before pulling up her clothes.

He kissed her cheek gently like a child with a pout, his cool lips just the right amount of softness as he murmured, "The only time you're not like a prickly little hedgehog is when you're asleep."

He tightened his embrace in satisfaction, his chin resting against her head, and he possessed her unique warmth in an extremely ambiguous manner. The hostility on his face gradually disappeared, and her warm breath seemed to melt the vast ice field in his heart. In the darkness that he could not see, the corners of her mouth slowly rose, and she rubbed her face against his arms and fell asleep.

The next day, when I woke up, sunlight penetrated the thick miasma into the hall. Although the light was dim, everything seemed so clear. The warmth beside me was still there, but the man had left. Only the wrinkles on the pillow were left to prove that he had been there.
