As the lights came on, Jiuxi took off her bamboo hat. The air was filled with heat and humidity, making her feel uncomfortable. She looked at the crowded Kyoto and calculated with her fingers. Today seemed like a lantern festival on earth...
She took out the jade pendant from her waist, rubbed the cloud pattern with her fingers, looked at it carefully for a while, then reluctantly put it away and whispered softly, "Wait for me."
