Chapter 732: Gentle Breeze (7)

A gentle voice, along with the sound of the wind, reached Qingran's ears. Qingran's eyes widened with excitement as he looked at the young man in flowing white clothes and said, "Are you serious?"

The young man smiled and said, "It's just a legend."

The boy took Qingran's hand and brought her back to his home. He had thought there would be a village next to the beach, but there wasn't. Under the starlight, only the boy's thatched cottage stood there alone. There were many salted fish and dried seaweed hanging in front of the boy's house. The boy said a little embarrassedly, "Girl, my house is a bit shabby..."

His moon-white robe was lifted by the breeze, and his handsome features became a bit colder. Qingran was stunned for a moment and said shyly, "Thank you."

It was not until a long time later that Qingran laughed at herself. This polite and seemingly harmless boy was actually the culprit who had deceived her the most. However, Qingran also laughed at her own blindness for actually believing him.

The room was fully furnished. The young man poured a cup of hot tea and handed it to Qingran, saying with a smile, "There used to be many people living in this sea area, but later on, they all moved away one after another, and in the end, I'm the only one left."

He spoke sincerely and seriously, sighing from time to time, as if he had suffered a huge blow.

Qingran held the cup, and the warm breath from the cup wall passed into her palm. She stared at him unconsciously, "Have you ever been out of this sea area?"

It's not that she hadn't suspected that the boy was an illusion, but now, apart from the vast ocean, there was only this man left, and she had to believe him temporarily.

The young man shook his head, his innocent eyes showing a hint of anticipation. He said, "No."

Qingran nodded slightly and drank the tea. Only then did she feel a little warmer. However, she still felt uncomfortable in her soaking wet clothes. Qingran glanced at them and said, "They moved away...but why is there only this house left here?"

The boy's eyes were like the unchanging sea water, tinged with a hint of ice. He said, "It's really strange. They left for three days, and the houses around me all disappeared strangely."

"Why don't you go out and take a look?"

"There's fog all around."

Qingran's pupils constricted, her nails digging into her palms. She lowered her eyelids, looking at the curling steam and the tea leaves in the cup, and asked in surprise, "How can there be tea leaves near the sea?"

The young man raised a smile, his eyes gleaming with wisdom. He said, "This is not tea, it's a creature from the sea."

The boy always looked gentle. Qingran looked at him hesitantly and asked, "Where is this place?"

"I don't know. I've been here since I was born." The boy's face suddenly turned pale, and the bright light of the lamp spread on his fair face, reflecting a few warm yellow lights.

Qingran's fingers trembled from time to time as she asked, "Do you know Yuan Zidan?"

"I don't know him."

"What's your name?"

"Jiang Linfeng." Jiang Linfeng's tone was still very calm, without any emotion in it.

At night, Jiang Linfeng found a robe from the inner room and handed it to Qingran. His eyes, as dark as ink, were filled with calmness. He said, "Miss, since you are here, just make the best of it."

Even the sound is exactly the same as Atom's.

Without Jiang Linfeng's reminder, Qingran knew she was in such a mess. Touched, she accepted the clothes. Looking at the face that looked exactly like Yuan Zidan's, she had this strange thought: had Yuan Zidan lost his memory after being beaten by that evil ghost? But, that was impossible.

That legend...
