CompletedBy a stroke of fortune, Huang Long managed to slay an otherworldly demon known as a Transmigrator, obtaining a Devouring Gourd capable of refining all things and inheriting the demon’s memories.
Within the Transmigrator’s memories, Huang Long saw a bleak future: tirelessly running errands for the Chan Sect, only to be labeled as a “Taoist of Four Nothings.” In the end, his top-three flowers were severed, and his five internal energies were eradicated. Yet even after all this, due to his humble origins, he was still not respected by the sect leader, Yuanshi Tianzun.
Reflecting on this, Huang Long immediately abandoned the idea of joining the Chan Sect.

In the years that followed, Huang Long established his foundation in the Western Seas, steadily increasing his cultivation using the Devouring Gourd. Drawing on the Transmigrator’s memories, he created new techniques and divine abilities while scheming for an opportunity to achieve sainthood.
Ultimately, Huang Long attained the Dao by an unconventional path. He allied with the Wu Tribe, the Ancestor of the Blood Sea, and other great powers, even creating the Netherworld.
He established the Guixu in the ocean depths, resolved the crises of the Four Seas, and brought the True Dragon Clan under his command.
