As the herald's voice echoed, Emperor Emhyr gazed at the man seated confidently on the throne and at his own daughter beside him. He couldn't fathom how, in just over a decade, this man had transformed from a defeated fugitive of a fallen nation into his current awe-inspiring stature.
The herald’s voice rose once again:
