Shi Jing transmigrated into a wealthy young lady in another world after saving someone, and then bound herself to the God of Wealth System.
She originally thought she could continue to live a...
The Liu Family Martial Arts School provides lunch every day, and even though Shi Jing was only there for a trial lesson, the school was not stingy with the meal.
Most of the students who come to learn basic martial arts during the summer vacation are elementary or middle school students. Shi Jing is not young among them, but there are two older than her. A boy and a girl look very familiar, so they probably came to learn together.
The girl was very enthusiastic. As soon as she relaxed a bit, she happily put her arm around Shi Jing's shoulder and said, "Hello, my name is Yin Keke, what's yours?"
"My name is Shi Jing, and I'm here for a trial lesson," Shi Jing replied.
Yin Keke nodded to indicate that she understood, and enthusiastically introduced, "If you want to learn martial arts, this place is quite good. Coach Wu and Coach Liu are both very serious and responsible."
Shi Jing nodded, seemingly understanding but not quite.
“I have a classmate who has been studying here since she was little. She comes here every summer vacation. She’s amazing. She’s the one who introduced me to this place.” Yin Keke didn’t mind that Shi Jing didn’t speak. She could talk happily by herself. “I was too busy with high school studies. I didn’t have time to come here. It’s only during summer vacation that I was able to drag Jiang Ruige along.”
The boy behind Yin Keke glanced at her helplessly. This guy was a chatterbox; once he started talking, he couldn't stop.
"Hello, I'm Jiang Ruige. She's just a talkative person, don't mind her," the boy chimed in from behind, trying to dissuade her.
"Jiang Ruige, what do you mean by this?!" Yin Keke let go of Shi Jing and turned to tease Jiang Ruige. The two of them were playfully fighting and being very affectionate.
A little boy walking in front of them turned around, glanced at the two bickering, and whispered to Shi Jing, "Sister, Sister Yin and Brother Jiang are definitely dating. Let's not interfere and be third wheels."
The little boy spoke so earnestly, it was quite cute.
Shi Jing nodded seriously and exchanged a knowing glance with the boy who seemed like a little adult.
"How long have you been teaching?" Shi Jing asked.
“I’ve been here for five days,” the little boy replied.
"I have arrived in Jiutian."
"I too am from the Nine Heavens."
......
The children answered enthusiastically.
It was indeed a summer program; although the start dates weren't exactly the same, they weren't too far apart. Shi Jing quite liked the atmosphere.
After lunch, practice continued in the afternoon. The students had practiced horse stance in the morning, and in the afternoon they began stretching exercises.
Shi Jing learned along with everyone. There are many different stretching techniques, and Coach Wu taught them one by one.
After a day of trial classes, the course ended at 4:30 p.m. Some children went home on their own, while others were picked up by their parents.
Shi Jing didn't leave; Brother Yang called her over.
"How did you feel after trying it out today?"
Shi Jing nodded: "It's good. The coach is very attentive and responsible."
As a new student, she was much less experienced than the veteran students in many areas. Although it was just a trial class, Coach Wu provided serious guidance and corrected any mistakes she made promptly.
"When you get home today, apply a hot towel to your face; it should make you feel better," Yang instructed.
Shi Jing nodded obediently.
"Okay. Then I have nothing more to say. If you want to learn, please have your parents come over tomorrow to complete the formalities."
"Can I register myself? My mother is quite busy and might not have time," Shi Jing asked. Ms. Yan had been leaving early and returning late lately, and she wasn't sure if the other party would be available tomorrow.
"No, this is a legitimate martial arts school. Minors must register under the supervision of their parents," Brother Yang said seriously, shaking his head.
Shi Jing sighed and nodded in agreement: "Alright, I'll ask my mother."
There's nothing we can do about it; being a minor is just that inconvenient.
"Then I'll head back now, Uncle. Goodbye."
"goodbye."
After saying goodbye to Brother Yang, Shi Jing left the martial arts school and took a car home alone. Meanwhile, Ms. Yan was still not home.
She thought about it and made a phone call. She wasn't sure when Ms. Yan would be back, so she figured she might as well call and confirm.
The call connected quickly, and along with Ms. Yan's voice, soothing music could be faintly heard.
"Hello? Xiaojing, what's wrong?" Ms. Yan asked.
Shi Jing rarely calls Ms. Yan, but when he does, it's usually because he has something to say.
"Mom, I want to enroll in a martial arts school to learn martial arts, but the school requires a guardian to accompany me to enroll. Can you come with me tomorrow?" Shi Jing briefly explained the situation.
Ms. Yan was slightly taken aback and asked uncertainly, "You mean, you want to learn martial arts?"
“Yes,” Shi Jing explained, “I think girls should also learn some moves so they can protect themselves in the future.”
Hearing Shi Jing's explanation, Ms. Yan understood why Shi Jing wanted to learn martial arts. She didn't object, but instead asked, "Which martial arts school did you choose? Is it reliable? Should I ask your father to help you find one?"
Shi Jing quickly refused, "No need, Mom. I already tried out the class today, and the martial arts school is pretty good."
"Okay then." Ms. Yan didn't say anything more, but instead asked, "When should we register?"
"Tomorrow," Shi Jing replied again.
"Tomorrow..." Ms. Yan paused slightly, as if she were discussing something in a low voice, before replying after a while, "Okay, Mom will take you to register tomorrow."
"Okay, thank you, Mom."
After the matter was settled and both sides hung up the phone, Shi Jing finally felt relieved.
