After Buying a Cat Slave, I Become Obsessed with Eavesdropping on Her Thoughts

In a world where tomorrow's bread is never certain and demi-humans are sold like livestock, Reiner makes a daring purchase: a cat-type demi-human whose talent outshines her tragic circumstances. A...

Chapter 32 I Have a Plan (2/2)

The guy's plate armor was stripped off and his sheepskin was stained with mud and water.

But even so, he did not give in and continued to curse the goblin loudly with the most vicious words.

Even the goblin couldn't understand a word.

Nora's ears suddenly pricked up. She pointed to the bushes not far away and said in a low voice, "I smell Martina and Junice! Let's go over there."

Reiner followed her through the trees.

After a while, she emerged from the bushes.

“Swish!”

A big sword came towards him.

Fortunately, I stopped in front of her in time.

"Nora?" Martina looked at Reiner behind her, and her frown relaxed. "It's really good that you didn't die!"

"Reiner."

Junice was there too.

She was followed by several adventurers.

After a few seconds of pausing, she said self-reproachfully, "I've caused so much trouble for everyone..."

Reiner declined to comment.

Junice simply made what she thought was the right choice at the time.

If it were Reiner, he would probably do the same.

Who could have expected that this Goblin High Priest could use magic of two attributes?

If we don't use magic defense and continue to be bombarded by fireballs, the casualties will probably not be much better.

Reiner took a deep breath and looked outside the bushes: "Let's find a way to get them out first."

For every two minutes of delay, an adventurer will be ripped open by the one-eyed ogre, so they need to make a choice quickly.

"Are we the only ones left?" Reiner looked around. There were only ten of them in total.

An adventurer replied, "Probably. Counting those in the pot, the number of people is roughly the same. The injured were basically all cooked in the pot by the goblins."

With all due respect, we should run away now. I just counted and there are at least ten ogres and two hundred goblins nearby. Ten of us can't cause any trouble."

Junice lowered her head, as if blaming herself.

Another adventurer also said: "Yes, let's run away before we are discovered. If we are discovered, it will be too late to run."

It is indeed dangerous to rescue them, but there is still a chance.

The goblins were now scattered and completely defenseless, which was a perfect opportunity for a surprise attack.

Martina can deal with the ten ogres, and the remaining goblins and the remaining adventurers are all quite reputable. As long as they cooperate a little more closely, there won't be any big problems.

Reiner asked Martina, who was covered in blood, "Can you defeat the two goblins in the middle?"

Martina snorted disdainfully, then raised a finger: "As long as I can get close, it only takes a moment."

It was pretty much what Reiner thought.

The fat and bloated Goblin Tyrant had difficulty moving and had almost no combat power.

The Goblin Priest was apparently just a ranged mage with high attack and low defense. If Martina got close to him, he would have almost no chance of resistance.

Reiner looked at Junice and asked, "What would happen if I were here and charged up my fireball to attack the Goblin Priest?"

Junice shook her head. "You'll be noticed when you're charging. If I'm not mistaken, the Goblin Priest should have some kind of magical sensing ability."

"That's easy." Reiner turned his head and looked at everyone, saying softly, "Next, I plan to try to rescue our companions. It may be dangerous. Those who don't want to participate can withdraw."

The adventurers looked at each other, but no one spoke.

"Let me put it another way. Who's willing to join?" Reiner glanced at everyone.

"I, Lord Dimas, saved my father on the battlefield."

"And me! Lord Adeni once helped me, and thanks to him I now have the money to treat my sister's illness."

"My brother is in there, so I'm joining in!"

Seeing that everyone was willing to join, Reiner gathered them together: "I have a plan..."
