Sehun suppressed a laugh and nodded seriously in agreement: "That might happen, so you should stay here."
Under Chanyeol's illogical yet inexplicably reasonable barrage of words, Oh Sehun and Kim Jongin's plan to sneak away to buy gifts failed once again.
The two looked at each other and saw helplessness and amusement in each other's eyes.
Chanyeol seemed completely unaware that he was "hindering" his younger brothers' plans, and he asked Kim Jongin with great interest, "Kai, what do you want?" He wanted to take Kai's preferences into consideration.
"Me?" Kim Jongin's eyes darted around, and he immediately gave an answer that could never be fulfilled on the spot, with a mischievous smile, "A house."
Chanyeol actually thought about it seriously for a moment and nodded: "Yeah, it's also possible that I'd want a house." His completely accepting attitude towards this absurd answer amused the staff behind the camera once again.
“Then let’s each say something,” Sehun suggested, then asked, “What do you want, hyung?”
“If I want one,” Chanyeol thought for a moment and gave a more practical answer, “a scarf or a wool hat.” As he spoke, he pointed to the row of hats he had just seen, “Can’t you buy me that one?” He pointed to one of them half-jokingly, then naturally turned and walked to the display case, reaching out to take the hat.
Now!
Taking advantage of the precious moment when Chanyeol turned around and his attention was completely drawn to the hat, Oh Sehun quickly flashed a bright, slightly wicked smile at the camera, and exchanged a "run!" look with Kim Jongin.
Like well-trained ninjas, the two moved nimbly and swiftly. Without a word, they left Park Chanyeol, who was still carefully selecting hats, and dashed out of the hat shop, disappearing instantly into the crowd outside.
Park Chanyeol turned around with his hat in hand, intending to ask his younger brothers for their opinions, but found that there was no one behind him.
"Huh? Where is everyone?"
He looked around blankly, but Sehun and Jongin were nowhere to be seen in the store.
"Really gone?" He was stunned for a few seconds before realizing he had been "abandoned." His face was filled with disappointment and disbelief as he complained to the camera, "What a disappointment!"
He reluctantly put down his hat, sighed, and muttered to himself, "I think this is the end." His tone carried a hint of resentment at being "betrayed."
"Sigh~ Now I'll have to shop alone." He slumped his shoulders, put his hands in his coat pockets, and slowly walked out of the hat shop with a forlorn look on his face.
Standing on the bustling street, he looked left and right. Without his noisy younger brothers by his side, his tall figure seemed somewhat lonely in the crowd.
He scratched his head, his face full of confusion, and sighed long and pitifully at the camera:
"I feel so lost."
The birthday boy, who was "abandoned," had no idea that his two "heartless" brothers who had run away were actually preparing a birthday surprise for him.
