The next afternoon, Zhong Hui received a call from Director Chen, saying that Linlin was selected and would join the crew three days later.

The crew was staying in a hotel in the city, which was quite convenient. Three days passed in a flash, and Zhong Hui took Linlin to the crew for the first time.

The weather was so hot that people felt like they would melt as soon as they went out. Zhong Hui parked the car, and the mother and daughter hurried into the hotel holding umbrellas.

Zhong Hui took Linlin's hand and followed over. The crew had booked the entire hotel and was currently filming in a guest room on the second floor.

There were several cameras working in the whole room. A middle-aged woman with short hair in the front was staring at the camera intently. She should be Director Fang.

"Yes." The actress named Deng Yue nodded and stepped aside to continue thinking.

Seeing Zhong Hui's curiosity, Xiao Yu explained to her, "Originally, this role was chosen for another young actress, a child star, but when the time came, she accepted another role and said she would come back a few days later. This really pissed off our director, so we replaced her on the first try."

Zhong Hui nodded. So that’s how it was. This gave Linlin an opportunity.

Sister Fan looked at Linlin's face, trimmed her eyebrows first, and then started to put on makeup.

"Your daughter has such beautiful eyes, so bright and big. Now she's acting in Director Fang's play. She has a bright future ahead of her." Sister Fan said to Zhong Hui.
