He Chi called the housekeeping service first and asked the aunt to come and cook dinner. When he went out to open the door for the aunt, he took a look at the master bedroom.

Jiang Yining was still asleep. He touched her forehead and found that her fever had subsided.

She was sleeping soundly, and He Chi planned to let her sleep for a while and wake her up after dinner was ready.

He Chi went to the kitchen and asked his aunt to cook another pot of meat porridge.

It was around seven o'clock when Xiang Chuan called He Chi back. "What's wrong?"

He Chi sat on the sofa in the living room, He Xiaohui lazily lying on his legs. He stroked He Xiaohui's fur nonchalantly and said, "I want to ask when you two are free to go to Ling Yan's house together."

Xiang Chuan asked in confusion, "Didn't you go there just half a month ago?"

They are busy with work and basically only go there once a month, except for holidays or Ling's parents' birthdays.

He Chi said calmly, "I'm getting married. I'm taking my wife there and meeting everyone."

Xiangchuan laughed, "Today is not April Fool's Day, are you kidding me?"

He Chi asked back, "Do you think I would play such a joke on you?"

Xiang Chuan was silent for a moment, still unconvinced, "You don't look like someone who would settle down and get married."

He Chi heard footsteps coming from the corridor, turned around and saw Jiang Yining walking towards him.

He motioned Jiang Yining to come over.

Jiang Yining slept all afternoon and woke up to find that it was already evening. Her mind was still fuzzy. She walked over and saw He Chi listening to the phone, so she didn't say anything.

Unexpectedly, He Chi handed him the phone and said, "Wife, come and say hello to Brother Xiang Chuan."

Jiang Yining looked at him in confusion, and took a few seconds to digest his "wife". Then he lowered his voice and asked him, "Who is it?"

He Chi threw He Xiaohui aside, took Jiang Yining's hand, asked her to sit next to him, and said softly, "My former captain."

The phone was already pressed to her ear. Jiang Yining didn't understand why she was asked to say hello, but she still said obediently, "Hello, Brother Xiangchuan."

Xiang Chuan was stunned. He didn't expect He Chi to be serious. "Hello... um, I wish you a happy wedding."

Jiang Yining said thank you, and then the phone was taken away by He Chi.

He calmly asked, "Do you believe it now?"

Xiang Chuan was surprised but also very happy. "I believe you. You are really capable. You do great things quietly."

"That's good. Now there's finally someone who can keep you in check."

Xiang Chuan added, "Next week. Your sister-in-law is busy this week and probably won't be able to spare the time. I'll let you know when we have a confirmed time."

He Chi nodded, and after hanging up the phone, he heard two clear cooing sounds.

He raised his lips and looked down at Jiang Yining, "Are you hungry?"

Jiang Yining nodded embarrassedly.

After a good sleep, her fever completely subsided and she had a good appetite. All the dishes cooked by her aunt were appetizing. Jiang Yining drank a bowl of meat porridge and ate a lot of vegetables.

He sweated a lot while sleeping in the afternoon. After resting for half an hour after dinner, Jiang Yining went to the master bedroom bathroom to take a quick shower.

He Chi was about to take a shower when he received a call from Ling Yue.

He picked up the phone.
